Rebecca Louise "Becky" Altice Rebecca Altice “Becky” Kelley died peacefully on January 3, 2026, at the age of 90. Survived by her children, Jerry Kelley (Patty Givan), Michael Kelley (Kathy Kelley), Patricia Kelley Trail (Michael Trail), and Jeffrey Kelley (Shannon Kelley); grandchildren Ashley Karunaratne (Nilan Karunaratne), Andrew Kelley (Emily Rogers-Kelley), Megan Trevett (Joshua Trevett), Benjamin Kelley (Haleigh Kelley), Morgan Kelley, and Emily Kelley; great-grandchildren, Madison Karunaratne, Paige Karunaratne, Bryleigh Trevett, Olivia Karunaratne, Natalee Trevett, Charlotte Kelley, Hayden Kelley, and Katherine Ann Rogers-Kelley; along with cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Kelley; parents, Herbert and Alta Altice, mother and father-in-law, Mary and Jesse Kelley; siblings and their spouses, Wallace and Ginny Altice, Barbara and Henry Witt, Alice and Bob Wirt; brothers-in-law and their spouses, Edward Kelley, Odell and Gloria Kelley, Bill and Mary Lu Kelley, Randolph and Patsy Kelley. Becky was born on July 3, 1935, in Salem, Virginia. She graduated from Andrew Lewis High School in 1953. She met Bob Kelley while working at Tarpley’s in Salem. In 1952, she married Bob just two months after her graduation. Over the next few years, the couple welcomed four children into their home. Her children remember her as a strong woman who encouraged them to pursue their goals with a strong work ethic. She regularly sacrificed for her family; we were always her priority, and she often told folks how proud she was of her children. She was a very good cook, and once the family loved a dish, she was not allowed to leave it off the Thanksgiving or Christmas menus! She often said most of what she learned about cooking was from her mother-in-law, Mary Rock Kelley. She was the go-to babysitter for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always happy, “at least we think so” to have the little ones at “Nannie’s house”. Christmas at Nannie and Pawpaw’s was always fun! She loved her brother, Wally, and sisters, Barbara and Alice, dearly, missing them so much after their passing. She will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.7 She was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.8 She was born on July 3, 1935 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.4,5,8,7 As of August 29, 1953,her married name was Kelley.4 She married Robert Jacob "Bob" Kelley on August 29, 1953 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.1,6,4,8,9,7 Rebecca Louise "Becky" Altice died on January 3, 2026 at Virginia at age 90.7

Alice Pearl Altice Alice Pearl Wirt, 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 27, 2017 in Houston, Texas. She is with the Lord and so shall she ever be with the Lord. She was at peace and surrounded by her family and close friends as she left this world and was received into Heaven. A life well-lived has now received her reward. Alice is preceded in death by her mom and dad, Alta and Herbert Altice, her brother Wallace Altice and her sister Barbara Witt. Alice is survived by her loving husband and partner of 57 years, Bob, her sons Scott, Gary and Jason. Grandchildren Alec, Alyssa, Cole, Aaron, Makayla, Trinity, Jaidyn and Meghan, and her sister Becky Kelley of Virginia. Alice was born in Salem, Virginia on May 10, 1942. She met the love of her life, Bob, when she was 14 years old and they were married on August 6, 1960. Alice and Bob spent the first 21 years of their marriage in Fairborn, Ohio where Bob was stationed in the Air Force and where they started a family and raised their sons. The family moved to League City, Texas in the summer of 1980. Alice worked at Bay Area Christian School for 5 years as a teacher's aide and 18 years at Clear Creek ISD in the Food Service Department from which she retired in 2004. Alice built her home with love, acceptance, patience and affection and was warm and welcoming to friends and strangers alike. She was a wonderful cook and loved to cook for her family and friends and engaging in meaningful conversation around the table. Christmas was Alice?s favorite time of year and she loved putting smiles on the faces of her family with the many surprises she had for them during that time. She had a way of making each person feel special and loved and appreciated. And even though she thoroughly enjoyed the giving of gifts at Christmas time she always made sure that everyone close to her understood the true meaning of Christmas. She always pointed them to Jesus. Alice was strong in her Christian faith and loved her Lord with all her heart. She was a faithful member of Sagemont Church since 1992 where she taught Sunday school for many years. To the very end Alice exuded great concern for the souls of others with some of her last whispered words, "Bring them to Jesus". Alice was a counselor at the crisis Pregnancy Center for many years. We as her family look forward to a joyful reunion someday with our wife, mother, grandmother. What a joyous reunion that will be. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.3 She was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8701 Almeda-Genoa, Houston, Harris Co., Texas.3 She was born on May 10, 1942 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.3,6 As of August 6, 1960,her married name was Wirt.5 She married Bobby Ray Wirt, son of Roy Washington Wirt Sr. and Annie Lee Wade, on August 6, 1960 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,3,4,7,5,8 Alice Pearl Altice died on November 27, 2017 at Houston, Harris Co., Texas, at age 75.3
