Hurst, 70-year old Duhring resident and retired employe of the American Coal Company at McComas, who died Saturday morning at Ormond Beach, Fla., will be conducted Wednesday. The Pastor, the Rev. B. F. Sublett, will officiate with burial following in Woodlawn Cemetery in Bluefleld. Mr. Hurst, who went to Florida for his health three weeks ago, was a member of the Duhring Church of Christ and of the UMW of A, Local No. 5954. A lifelong resident of Duhring, Mr. Hurst was employed for the American Coal Company for more that 20 years. Survivors include his wife. Mrs. Dolly Harmon Hurst, Duhring; and the following children: Mrs. Paul Dlllion, Mrs. Doris Turney, Mrs. Grace Love, Mrs. J. E. Pyles, Mrs. M. W . Isley and Dan Hurst, all of Burlington, N. C., William Hurst, at home, Paul Hurst, Hines, W. Va., one stepdaughter, Miss Lydia Mae Watkins, Ormond Beach, Fla; four brothera; G. W. Hurst, Bluefleld, Rex Hurst, Montcalm, O. S. Hurst, McComas, B. B. Hurst, Duhrlng; one sister, Mrs. R. S. Kennedy; and nine grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Charles Saddler, Gussie Surface, R. B. Dale, Charles Hurst, W. M. Robinett, and E. C. Vaughn. The Ladies Sunday School Class of the Duhring Church of Christ will serve as flowerbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be J. T. Scott. W. L. Warden. J. C. Mitchell, C. C. Ellison, Luther Shrader, Dave McNew, E. M. Taylor, and Smith Jones. on December 3, 1951.4

Myrdith was a member of First Baptist Church of Luling and River Road Garden Club. Burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens Cemetery, St. Rose, LA. on May 9, 2015.3

MacLeery; his daughter, Vickie Stanley; his son, Buddy MacLeery and his wife Bonnie, all of Hurricane. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He will be loved and missed by all family and friends. Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Park, Hurricane, with military honors. on November 9, 2008.2
