     Mable Bernice Woods was buried at Oaklawn Cemetery, Wynnewood, Garvin Co., Oklahoma.² She Mable Berniece (Woods) Hartley was born on September 12, 1936 in Wynnewood, OK to Jessie (Broom) and Fred Woods. She passed away on February 21, 2020 in Pauls Valley, OK at the age of 83 years 5 months and 9 days. Mable grew up in Wynnewood and graduated from Wynnewood High School. After high school she spent time in Moore and OKC before returning to Wynnewood. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter - Ginger Smeltzer of Wynnewood; 2 sons - David Wayne Garrett and wife Debbi of Lone Grove, OK; Fred Garrett and wife Harlene of Elmore City, OK; brother - Leon Woods and wife Barbara of Sulphur, OK; 9 grandchildren - Mitchell and Molly Larimer, Dana Pila, Jodi Purser, David, Devin, Daniel, Tommy, and Stephanie Garrett.¹ She was born on September 12, 1936 at Wynnewood, Garvin Co., Oklahoma.¹ As of August, 1986,her married name was Hartley.³ She married Thelbert Leo Hartley, son of Purley Leo Hartley and Dorothy Ann Miles, in August, 1986 at Oklahoma.³ Mable Bernice Woods died on February 21, 2020 at Pauls Valley, Garvin Co., Oklahoma, at age 83.¹

     Billy Gerald Conner was buried at Masonic Cemetery, Tipton, Cedar Co., Iowa.² He Billy Gerald Conner, 76, formerly of Tipton, entered eternal rest Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018, in Crestridge Care Center in Maquoketa, Iowa. Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 20 at 11 a.m. in the First United Church of Christ in Tipton. Visitation will be held Sunday, Aug. 19 from 2-4 p.m. at Fry’s. Burial will be in Tipton Masonic Cemetery; military honors will conclude the service at 1:15 p.m. Billy was born Aug. 2, 1942 in Grand Island, Nebraska and was the son of Wilford “Pete” Conner and Mable Oliver Conner. He graduated from Sigourney (Iowa) High School in 1960. He was united in marriage with Ardelle Janice Whisler on April 18, 1963 in Des Moines, Iowa. He served in the United States Air Force from September 10, 1962 to September 9, 1966. He worked in Florida before returning to Sigourney where he worked in construction for his father. Billy then graduated from Iowa State University with an engineering degree and worked as county engineer in Potawatomie, Mills, Cedar, Adair, and Palo Alto counties. Billy is survived by his wife, Ardelle Conner of Emmetsburg, Iowa; son William Conner of Crown Point, Indiana, daughter and son-in law Ann and Darren Miller of Tipton, Iowa, son and daughter-in-law David and Nikki Conner of Omaha, Nebraska, sisters Sharon Kimberlin of Des Moines, Iowa and Melody Conner of Kansas City, Missouri, brother Ronald (Terry) Conner of Iowa City, Iowa, seven grandchildren and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Carole Conner.² He was born on August 2, 1942 at Grand Island, Hall Co., Nebraska.² He married Ardelle Janice Whisler on April 18, 1963 at Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa.² Billy Gerald Conner died on August 15, 2018 at Maquoketa, Jackson Co., Iowa, at age 76.²

     Virginia Ann Conner was buried at Conner Cemetery, Sigourney, Keokuk Co., Iowa.³ Her Social Security Number was 481-52-6548.⁴ She was born on December 2, 1943 at Sigourney, Keokuk Co., Iowa.^4,2,3 As of May 3, 1965,her married name was Baker.² She married Howard L. Baker on May 3, 1965.² Virginia Ann Conner died on June 22, 2005 at Sioux City, Union Co., South Dakota, at age 61.^4,2,3 She Virginia Ann Conner Baker, 61, died Wed., June 22, 2005, in Sioux City, S. D. She was born in Sigourney on Dec. 2, 1943, the daughter of Sam and Bertha Conner. She attended school in Sigourney. On May 3, 1965, she married Howard Baker in Bloomfield. They lived in Downing, Mo. for many years before moving to Beacon in 1990. She worked as a clerk for Brower Construction Company in Sioux City. She is survived by a daughter, Carla Miller of Des Moines; a son, Tracey of Kahoka, Mo; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five sisters, Sandra Conner of Glenwood, Diana Garringer, Gwen Stull, Dottie Dobbins and Michele Vermillion all of Sigourney; a brother, Gerald of Beacon; her brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. No services are planned. Those who loved her will gather in her honor at a later time. Her body has been cremated. Holm Funeral Home in Sigourney was in charge of arrangements. on June 30, 2005.²
