A Methodist, he was a member of the Brookville Firemen's Club and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed shooting, NASCAR and riding ATVs. Surviving are three brothers: Larry D. Park of Flaconer, N.Y. Gary N. Martin of Brookville and Bruce E. Martin of Summerville, two nephews and one niece. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: A sister, Judy Minich and a brother. William D. "Bill" Martin. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at the Furlong Funeral Home in Summerville. Burial was in the Vandervort Cemetery, Clover Township. The family suggests memorials may be to the Summerville Library. on August 8, 2007.1

Park Martin. He attended Summerville School and was a 1969 graduate of Brookville High School. Furthering his education he received his Bachelor's in Education from Edinboro University. Weasel had worked for Shawmut Railroad and Rose Township, where he retired as Supervisor. His pastimes included reading, hunting, trapping, fishing, camping and cooking. You could often find him out driving around on a back country road or in a local restaurant eating and discussing the latest happenings in the world or talking about a book that he had read. Weasel was a good Storyteller. Those preceding him in death in addition to his parents are his grandparents, Arthur and Mary Martin and Ed and Ida Park; his brothers, Robert, William and Bruce Martin; his sister, Judy Minich; as well as numerous aunts and uncles. His survivors include his brother, L. Dale (Margaret) Park; his two nephews, Greg Park and Lance Martin; a niece, Megan Park; and two aunts, Chris Martin and Tricia Martin; as well as numerous cousins. Interment will be at Vandervort Cemetery, Clover TWP., Jefferson County.2 He was born on July 10, 1951 at Brookville, Jefferson Co., Pennsylvania.2 He died on May 20, 2022 at Brookville, Jefferson Co., Pennsylvania, at age 70.2

He was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the Brookville Eagles and Fireman's Club. His pastimes included hunting, fishing and target shooting. Those surviving include his wife; Patricia; his son, Lance Martin; his stepsons, Jeremy and Stephen Barnacastle; and his brothers, Gary "Weasel" Martin and Dale (Margaret) Park. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, William and Robert Martin; and his sister, Judy Minich. Interment will be in Vandervort Cemetery, Clover TWP, Jefferson County.2 He married Patricia Rusz.2 Bruce E. Walton, aged 58, resident of Ludlow for 35 years where he was a night watchman at the Curtis Leather company, was found dead in the garage at his home at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. It was believed Mr. Walton had been planning to come to Kane about 2 p.m. to visit his wife, a patient at Kane Summit hospital, when a storm struck the area and that he either suffered a heart attack or was asphyxiated. Mr. Walton had been complaining of chest pains for a week but shrugged off advice of family and friends to consult a doctor. He was born at Marienville in 1896 and moved to Ludlow shortly after he returned from service in World War 1. He was a member of the James Uber Post of American Legion in Ludlow, the Loyal Order of Moose in Kane and attended the Methodist church. Besides his wife, Rosa Hullngs Walton, he leaves three daughters: Mrs. Clarence Mcintosh, Mrs. Paul Fuller and Miss Maxine Walton, of Ludlow; three sons, Russell with the U.S. Army in Germany and James and David at home. Also surviving are three sisters: Mrs. Chris Anderson of Warren; Mrs. Carl Gincott, Columbus, Pa., and Mrs. Harry McClaskey of Bordentown, N.Y; his father, Samuel Walton, of Endeavor and 15 grandchildren. Friends will be received at the John F. Hill Funeral home after 7 p.m. today at usual visiting hours. Final rites have been set for 2 p.m. Wednesday with arrangements for interment incomplete pending word from the son in Germany. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Sherman H. Epler, pastor of First Methodist church. on August 2, 1954.5

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Kathryn Nelson; and maternal grandparents, Clarence and Genevieve McIntosh. Friends may call at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. A funeral service will be held there at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Apparently believing that a .22 calibre target pistol was empty, the victum stuck the barrel in his mouth and pulled the trigger Saturday night. The experiment prove lethal to David E. Walton, 25, of 703 Janeway St., Kane. Police said that Mr. Walton was riding with several companions on a forest service road in Wetmore Township when the group stopped to change a tire. They began target shooting at empty beer cans and then the fatal incident took place. The victim was pronounced dead upon arrival at Summit hospital. Corner Gale Hollenbeck of Bradford said he issued a certificate of accidental death. Mr. Walton was born at Ludlow on Dec. 14, 1940, a son of the late George and Rose Hulings Walton. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1964 and since his discharge he was employed by the Kane Manufacturing Company as a welder. He attended the Church of the Nazarene in Kane. Mr. Walton is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Brinkley Walton; a daughter, Suzanne Brinkley and son John David Walton; three sisters, Mrs. Genevieve MacIntosh of Russell, Mrs. Dolores Fuller of James City, and Miss Maxine Walton of Kane; and two brothers, James Walton of Kane and Russell Walton of Livingstone Manor, N.Y. Funeral services were held at a local funeral home at 2 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Donald Holsinger of the Church of the Nazarene. on June 16, 1966.5
