Ashley Christie; son, Wesley Eugene Christie, Jr; son, Cary Michael Christie (wife, Bonnie); seven grandchildren, Melissa, Emily, Carlton, Sean, Sarah, Carrie and Aubrey; preceded in death by sisters, Polly Goad and Beatrice Vest. Friends may visit from 1:00 - 5:00 PM, Friday, September 17 at the funeral home. Graveside Services will take place at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 18 at Palm Beach Memorial Park, 3691 Seacrest Blvd., Lantana, FL 33462. Glenna was a Secretary/Data Processor and Senior Information Support Technician for the Palm Beach County School System from 1959-1990. She was a member of the Westmoreland Chapter, Huntington, W.Va, Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a Charter Member of the First Baptist Church of Lantana, Fl. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who devoted herself to her family. She had a keen interest in genealogy, and took great care to document her family history which she passed on to her children and grandchildren. Glenna is preceded in death by her loving husband, Wesley Eugene Christie Sr. She is survived by her two sons, Wesley Eugene Christie Jr. and Cary Michael Christie. In addition, she is survived by her seven grandchildren, Melissa, Emily, Carlton, Sarah, Aubrey, Sean, and Carrie Lynn. She was loved and cared for by her daughter-in-law Bonnie Christie. She is preceded in death by her sister Betty Ashley Belcher. She is survived by her sister Lois Ashley Onks of Virginia Beach, Va. Friends are welcome to attend a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30th, 2017 at Palm Beach Memorial Park.2 She was born on March 21, 1934 at Oxford, Chester Co., Pennsylvania.1,2 As of July 12, 1951,her married name was Christie.1 She married Wesley Eugene "Jack" Christie Sr., son of Everett Christie and Ada E. Nappy is survived by his beloved cat Tammy Mae, his cousin Roy Hadden wife Lidia of Danbury, CT, his niece Elizabeth Hadden, and his half-sister Dorothy Williamson and her husband Allen of Texas. on October 28, 2019.4
