     Donald E. Raby was buried at New Hope Cemetery AEC #32, Anderson Co., Tennessee.³ He married Nancy Unknown.² Donald E. Raby was born on June 30, 1951 at Tennessee.⁵ He died on December 26, 2016 at Knoxville, Knox Co., Tennessee, at age 65.³ He Donald E. Raby, of Knoxville, local historian, passed away from this world unto Heaven on Monday, December 26, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. Don was 65 years old and had lived a full life that included travel while in the Navy aboard the USS Wainwright. He graduated from the University of Tennessee and the School of Preaching and Ministries in Karns. Don retired from the United States Postal Service after 30 years of service. He was thought of as a "true friend" by all who knew him and was a loyal and steadfast companion to his wife, Nancy. He honored and cared for his parents, Sarah and Earl Raby and he loved his two elder brothers, Terry, now deceased, and Fred Raby, of Florida, and their families. Don loved to study family history, especially in the area of Scarboro and Oak Ridge, TN. He loved to hike and visit with his friends Fred Cannon, Tommy Bruce, Ray Smith, Jim Tumblin and Gordon Davis. More recently he became interested in woodcrafts and old cars. He will be deeply missed. Following the service, family and friends will travel in procession to the family cemetery in the New Hope Community of Oak Ridge, where Mr. Raby will be laid to rest with full military honors conducted by Roane County Honor Guard and the Naval Reserve. on December 29, 2016.³

Jerry is survived by his wife, Martha Fields Lumpkin; daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Matt Mullins; grandchildren, Matthew Lumpkin (Melissa) and great grandson, Gavin Lumpkin; Amber Rouse (Wade) and baby Anna Grace Rouse.² He was born on October 12, 1943.² He married Sara Lee Raby, daughter of Franklin Roy "Frank" Raby and Dorthy Jeanette Waller, in December, 1961 at Knox Co., Tennessee.¹ Jerry Dean Lumpkin died on March 25, 2020 at Knoxville, Knox Co., Tennessee, at age 76.²

Wounded in right leg May 22, 1863, Vicksburg, Miss. Leg amputated. Discharged Sep 28, 1863, St. Louis, MO.^4,6 He was born on April 11, 1841 at Indiana.^8,6 He married Mary Metcalf on August 8, 1867 at Knoxville, Marion Co., Iowa.^9,5,10 James Montgomery Reed died on June 19, 1920 at Osage, Mitchell Co., Iowa, at age 79.^6,7

     Mary Metcalf was buried at Pleasantville Cemetery, Pleasantville, Marion Co., Iowa.⁴ She was born on October 24, 1848 at Indiana.^5,6 As of August 8, 1867,her married name was Reed.² She married James Montgomery Reed, son of Ezra Reed and Lydia "Liddy" Light, on August 8, 1867 at Knoxville, Marion Co., Iowa.^1,2,3 Mary Metcalf died on December 1, 1920 at Marion Co., Iowa, at age 72.⁶
