She moved to Napa in 1947 and worked as a cook at Napa College from the early 1960s to the late 1970s when she retired. Mrs. Wiginton did extensive volunteer work as a gray lady at the California Veterans Home for several years. She enjoyed doing genealogy and was active in church activities. She was predeceased by her husbands, C.M. Wigington and Ruel Wanlass. Mrs. Wigington is survived by two sons, Robin of St. Helena and Doug of Enterprise, Ala; one brother, Roy Belden of Sacramento; a sister, Arabelle; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 15 Chapel Hill Drive, Napa. Burial will follow in the family lot at Yountville Cemetery.¹ She was buried at George C. Beulah was born in Smyth County, Va., to the late Thomas Riley and Edith Dean Riley. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, George McGhee. Beulah loved her Lord and was a devoted member at Chilhowie Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to church and reading her Bible. Beulah also loved doing her crossword puzzles and playing cards with Allen, Carol, and Doris. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister that will be deeply missed. She is survived by her two sons, George Thomas "Tom" McGhee and wife, Christy and Robert "Bobby" McGhee; brothers, James "Jim" Riley and wife, Nancy, John Riley and wife, Betty, George Robert Riley and wife, Donna, and Larry Riley and wife, Sue; sisters, Carol Blevins and Sue Kimberlin; grandchildren, Cody Brown, Morgan McGhee, Jordan McGhee, Shaylee Shupe, Kenzie McGhee, and Dakota McGhee; special great-granddaughter, Kaia; great-grandchildren, Deon, Ellie, and Jameson; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Doris Blevins and Doris Riley. There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25, 2005, at Elizabeth Cemetery, with military rites conducted by Saltville VFW Post 7328. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, just prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Rocky Wilson, Ken Moore, Jimmy Rhea, Joe Stallard, Laney Kestner and Doug Stallard. Honorary pallbearers are Sammy Olinger, Bob Maloyed, Stanley Totten, T.G.
