She was born in Franklin Co. on November 20, 1927 to the late Jesse Webb and Mae Hale Webb. She was retired after forty eight years working as a Filling Operator for Fieldcrest Mills, an avid cake decorator and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Roy L. and Coy L. Webb, Junus C. Webb and Donnie Webb and one grandchild, Jason Hubbard. Surviving are her husband, Brady Jones of the home, two daughters, Betty S. Hubbard of Rocky Mount; Pat S. Born May 23, 1924, in Danville, he was the son of the late James Gentry Rhodes and the late Ida Dockery Rhodes. Mr. Rhodes lived most of his life in Danville. He retired at age 62 from the maintenance department of Dan River Mills with 38 years service, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of First Church of the Brethren on Glen Oak Drive, where he was a former Sunday school teacher, superintendent and member of the choir. He married Shirley Webb Rhodes on Aug. 19, 1972.
