     Stella Grace Boyd was buried at Grindstaff Cemetery, Unicoi Co., Tennessee.2 She was born on May 2, 1910 at Tennessee.4 As of April 8, 1939,her married name was Jamison.3 She married John West Jamison, son of Gustavus Wingfield "Gus" Jamison and Auslebie "Leebie" West, on April 8, 1939 at Elizabethton, Carter Co., Tennessee.1,2,3 Stella Grace Boyd died on April 16, 2007 at Elizabethton, Carter Co., Tennessee, at age 96.4,2 She ELIZABETHTON — Mrs. Grace Boyd Jamison, 96, formerly of 1069 Bristol Highway, Elizabethton died Monday, April 16, 2007 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following an extended illness. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Ed and Charlotte Grindstaff Boyd. She was a homemaker and she was a member of Elizabethton Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, Mrs. Jamison was preceded in death by her husband, John West Jamison, a son, Glen West Jamison; two brothers and one sister. Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law, Walter Ray Jamison, Elizabethton, Norman Edward Jamison and his wife Janet Phillips Jamison, Indianapolis, IN and Jerry Wayne Jamison, Elizabethton; two daughters and a son-in-law, Wanda Kay Jamison Elliott and her husband T.J. Elliott and Janice Lee Jamison, all of Elizabethton; six grandchildren, Randy Elliott, Lisa Elliott Lankford, Cynthia Elliott Beaudin, Hannah Jamison, Jon Jamison and John David Jamison; four great-grandchildren, Autumn Kay Lankford, Lacey Rebecka Lankford, Kayelyn Jamison and Maggie Jamison and a sister, Berniece Walsh Akers, Elizabethton. Funeral service for Mrs. Grace Boyd Jamison will be conducted at 8:00 P.M. Thursday, April 19, 2007 in Elizabethton Church of Christ with Mr. Roby Ellis and Mr. Eddy Craft, ministers officiating. Music will be provided through congregational singing. Graveside service and interment will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 20, 2007 in Grindstaff Cemetery (Limestone Cove Community.) Active pallbearers will be John David Jamison, Randy Elliott, George Ellis, Clark Ellis and Darrell Lankford. Honorary pallbearers will be Crawford Scott, Raymond Harmon, Arlie Vaughn, L. D. Fair and Willie Holsclaw. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 9:00 A.M. on Friday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Elizabethton Church of Christ from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday prior to the funeral service or at the home of a daughter and her husband, Kay and T. J. Elliott, 173 Whitson Drive, Elizabethton at other times. In lieu of flowers to those who desire memorials may be made to the Elizabethton Church of Christ, 137 East C Street, Elizabethton, TN 37643. Garfield Yopp and Minnie Odell Collins, on December 11, 1976 at Iron Gate, Alleghany Co., Virginia.1,2,4 Ruby Elizabeth Mitchell died on December 17, 1994 at Low Moor, Alleghany Co., Virginia, at age 81.1 She YOPP, Ruby Mitchell Young, 81, of Brian Center Nursing Home, Low Moor, formerly of Clifton Forge, died Saturday, December 17, 1994, in Alleghany Regional Hospital. She was born in Iron Gate, Va., May 5, 1913, a daughter of the late Charles Wesley and Blanche O. Tolley Mitchell. She was a retired cook at the Old Forge Restaurant in Iron Gate and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Owen Henry Young and second husband, James Madison Yopp Sr. She is survived by two daughters, Mr. A. J. (Helen) Simmons Jr., Iron Gate, Mrs. Donnie (Ann) Nicely, Lynchburg; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert O. and Drema Young, Paris, Tenn; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, with the Rev. Andy Nash and the Rev. Wayne Sellers officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Active Pallbearers include D. H. Scott Sr., Don Morgan, Robert Turner, Homer Simmons, G. E. Chambers, Carlton Jackson and Lee Dunn. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, and friends may call anytime at the home of Mr. & Mrs. A. J. Simmons Jr. in Iron Gate. on December 19, 1994.1
