She was a member of St. Edwards Episcopal Church; Founders Garden Club Circle; Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity, Women for Hospice, Women's Club of Mount Dora; Fine Arts Committee of Mount Dora. Lillian is survived by her son, David A. Brown of St. Petersburg, FL; 3 daughters, Melissa Austin of St. Petersburg, FL, Judy Connelly of Asheville, NC, and Linda Roswell of Lafayette, CO; 9 grandchildren, Ashley, John, and Jimmy Austin, Shannon and Sean Connelly, Madison and Michael Roswell, and David and Katie Brown. 5 great-grandchildren. on October 6, 2011.³

He was preceded in death by his brother, Otis Vest. He is survived by his son, Edward Neal Vest Jr. and his wife, April; and grandson, Marcus Jordan Vest; his parents, Helen and Mickey Vest; sister, Patsy Vest Williams; brother, Dolphus Vest and his wife, Nan; sister-in-law, Charlotte Vest; numerous nieces and nephews; former wife and friend, Bonnie Lantz; and good friends, James, Sandy and Wanda; and other relatives and friends. He was a member of I.B.E.W. Local No. 666 and I.U.E.C. Local No. 51. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. on January 23, 2007.²
