A lifelong resident of the Chatham area, Mr. Prill was a farmer. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn. Survivors: wife, Betty Jo; a son, Philip Prill of Chatham; four daughters, Karen Gorsage and Jennifer Prill, both of Chatham, Jinny Richmond of Auburn, and Becky Luttrell of Jacksonville; and five grandchildren. Buster was a member of Berean Baptist Church, Springfield. He was a farmer in the Chatham area. Served on the Board of Lick Elevator and was a member of Sangamon County Farm Bureau. Surviving are his wife, Joan; one son, Allan (Joan) Rakes of Chatham; two grandchildren, Natosha and Joshua; two great-grandchildren. Olivia Drabing and Koltyn Rakes; one sister, Betty Prill of Virden; one brother, Grover Rakes of Waverly; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 till 5 pm, Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn. Services will be held at 10 am on Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Ahlgrim officiating. Burial in East Cemetery, Waverly. Memorials may be made to St. John's Hospice or Gideon's International. on November 5, 2010.³

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 at Jacksonville cemetery with the Reverend Leon Wood and the Reverend Mike Bowman officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. on December 27, 2013.²
