He was preceded in death by a brother, David, and a great-granddaughter, Christy Brysiewicz. on June 30, 1993.4

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Marek and a great granddaughter, Christy. Funeral and interment services were held June 16 at Highland Memorial Park, Libertyville. on June 16, 2006.1

(formerly Lake Villa, IL.) passed away Saturday, July 9th, 2016 at his home in Bunnell, FL. surrounded by his family. Jack was born and raised in Chicago where he met his beautiful wife Clara of 51 years, after marrying they moved to Lake County, IL and together they raised three children, Sherry, Sandy and Mike. Jack was a devoted husband, loving father and a wonderful friend to all who knew him. Jack truly loved life and had many hobbies, from throwing horseshoes and darts to snowmobiling and boating but his all-time favorite was fishing. Jack loved to fish! He was famous for his fish fry's and had as much fun cooking them up for his family and friends as he did catching them. He was an avid woodworker too and after an early retirement from US Steel, Jack turned his talent of working with wood into Vance Woodcrafts. He created beautiful wood crafts to exhibit in craft shows, his favorite being his "No Scratch" Cutting Boards. After retiring from Vance Woodcrafts, Jack moved to Florida in early 2014 to enjoy the sunshine, fish every day and bike. He was blessed to enjoy this with his beloved friend Agnus Rhue until losing his battle to cancer. Jack will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His everyday love of life is something we will always remember and keep with us. Jack is survived by his three children: Cheryl (John) Brysiewicz, Sandra (Gerald) Bandman; Mike (Kelly) Vance. His grandchildren: Amy Marquardt, Craig Brysiewicz, Brett Geraci, Tamara Owsley, Kristal and Jennifer Vance. His great grandchildren: Ashley and Laura Marquardt. He is also survived by his brother Myron Vance and nephews Ronald and Mark Vance as well as many friends including his beloved friend Agnus Rhue. He is preceded in death by his wife Clara; parents Myron & Johanna Vance and his granddaughter Christy Brysiewicz. on July 20, 2016.3

Those left to cherish her memory include four daughters, Sue Green and husband Reed of Rupert, Linda Austin and husband James of Rhodell, Mary Hite and husband Dwayne of Sophia, and Julie Bowens and husband Jackie of Helen; three sons, Charles Wall of Milwaukee, WI, Larry Wall and wife Judy of Beckley, and David Wall and wife Deborah of Charleston; two sisters, Mary Alice Hunt and Louise Hoffman; twenty-seven grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday, March 20, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Dwayne Hite and Pastor Gary Eskins officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley. Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Dr. Beckley, WV, 25801. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Dwayne Hite of Sophia; sons, Kevin Dwayne Hite of San Antonio, Texas and Joshua Paul Hite of Waldorf, Md; grandchildren, Joshua Dwayne Hite, Nathaniel Paul Hite and Elliana Grace Rae Hite; sisters, Sue Green of Beckley, Linda Austin of Mead, Julie Bowens of Helen; brothers, Charles Wall of Milwaukee, Wis., Larry Wall of Beckley, Rev. David Wall of Davis Creek; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and her two special babies Nicki and Wendi. Services will be held noon on Friday, September 17, 2010, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Reed Green Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Dennis Lacy, Timothy Hite, Alan Austin, Jeff Austin, Cody Bowens and Michael Green. Friends may gather with the family Friday from, 11 a.m. to noon at the funeral home. on September 16, 2010.2
