     Nancy C. Plymale was buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 1521 South Carpenter Drive, Covington, Alleghany Co., Virginia.¹ She Nancy C. Plymale Craft, of Burkeville, formerly of Covington, passed away on June 16 in Port Orange, FL after a long illness. She was born on September 28, 1939 in Covington to the late George H. and Trusby (Taylor) Plymale. Nancy previously worked for Halmode Apparel, Inc. and Aide’s Department Store. She is preceded in death by her husband, James R. “Bo” Craft, and a sister, Kay Francis Plymale. She is survived by her son, Stephen G. Craft, his wife, Demi Wen-ling Lin, and two grandchildren, William R. Craft and Brittney N. Craft, of Port Orange, two sisters Mary Sue Woodson, of Covington; Barbara Jean Paxton, of Denver, CO., and two brothers George Eugene Plymale, of Tucson, AZ; William “Danny” Plymale, of Lynchburg; and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday evening from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM at the Arritt Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery on Friday at 11:00 AM, family and friends may gather at Arritt Funeral Home prior to the service.¹ Her married name was Craft.¹ She married James Richard Craft, son of William Roscoe Craft Sr. and Ethel Mae Kittinger.¹ Nancy C. Plymale was born on September 28, 1939 at Covington, Alleghany Co., Virginia.¹ She died on June 16, 2014 at Port Orange, Volusia Co., Florida, at age 74.¹

     Her married name was Mottley.¹ Iva Evelyn Craft was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.² Her married name was Fields.¹ Her married name was Robertson.¹ She married Johnny Floyd Fields.¹ Iva Evelyn Craft married Paul Kirby Robertson.¹ Iva Evelyn Craft and Paul Kirby Robertson were divorced.^3,4 Iva Evelyn Craft married Unknown Mottley.¹ Iva Evelyn Craft was born on September 14, 1930 at Covington, Alleghany Co., Virginia.^5,1 She died on September 3, 2012 at Virginia at age 81.^1,5 She On Monday, September 3, 2012, Iva E. Fields went home to be with the Lord, 11 days before her 82nd birthday. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother of four, as well as being an accomplished artist. She was an avid gardener, and she greatly enjoyed her rose and vegetable gardens. Iva was born in Covington, the daughter of Withrow and Rodena Craft. She was employed by Eli Lilly and Elizabeth Arden, in Roanoke and Enfield, Connecticut, from 1962 until her retirement in 1992. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Fields, who passed away in 2001, and her former husband, Paul K. Robertson. Also preceding Mrs. Fields in death was her son, William Michael Robertson (2004); and a great-granddaughter, Rebecca Grace Holliday (October 20, 2001 to April 1, 2005). Mrs. Fields is survived by a son, Wayne Mottley and his wife, Pat; a daughter, Shirley Robertson Hawthorne and husband, John, of Bowie, Maryland; and her caregiver and loving daughter, Cathy Robertson Edwards; also, granddaughter, Christi Holliday and her husband, Bobby Holliday along with their children, Robbie, Ben, Hannah and John; step-great granddaughter, Briana; and her best friend, Corliss. She is also survived by her loyal and faithful canine companion, Brandy, who never left her side during her long illness. In addition to her agricultural and artistic accomplishments, Iva was an active participant in the Republican Party, both in Enfield, Connecticut, and in Roanoke. Throughout her life she gave generously of her time, assistance and encouragement to those in need. She will be greatly missed by her family and all those who knew her. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2012, at Oakey's North Chapel, with Pastor Brian Clingenpeel officiating.      Johnny Floyd Fields was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.² His Social Security Number was 226-48-9064.³ He married Iva Evelyn Craft, daughter of Zetic Withrow "Zadie" Craft and Rodena Mary Bender.¹ Johnny Floyd Fields was born on January 18, 1941.³ He died on February 20, 2001 at Virginia at age 60.^3,2 He FIELDS, Johnny Floyd, 60, of Roanoke, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2001. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and had 25 years of service with Norfolk-Southern. He is survived by his wife, Iva E. Fields; sons, Johnny Lee Fields and Donny Scott Fields, both of Montvale; sisters, Mary Gray, Macel Fields, Gaynell Fields, Marie Gillaland and husband, Fred; stepsons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Donna Mottley, Mike and Doris Robertson; stepdaughter, Cathy Robertson Edwards; special friend, Jack Meek; nephew, Fred Gillaland, Jr; stepgrandchildren, Christie Holliday, Tessie Roberts and John Roberts. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2001 at Oakey's North Chapel with Pastor Jason Forehand officiating. Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.      Paul Kirby Robertson was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.² He and Iva Evelyn Craft were divorced.^2,3 Paul Kirby Robertson married Iva Evelyn Craft, daughter of Zetic Withrow "Zadie" Craft and Rodena Mary Bender.¹ Paul Kirby Robertson was born on February 21, 1924.⁴ He died on January 16, 2007 at Virginia at age 82.^4,2 He Paul Kirby Robertson, 82, of Salem, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 16, 2007. He was a beloved husband and father. He retired from General Electric after 30 years of service, owned and was head chef of Paul's Steak & Chicken, was a member and deacon at Tabernacle Baptist Church, was a member of Taylor Lodge #23 AF & AM and was a member of Eastern Star #161. He was preceded in death by a son, William Michael Robertson and a brother, Lee Harold Robertson. Surviving are his beloved wife of 30 years, Elizabeth H. Robertson; daughters and son-in-law, Cathy R. Edwards, Roanoke, Shirley A. and John Hawthorne, Bowie, Md; brothers and sisters-in-law, Earl and Phyllis Robertson, Roanoke, Dewey and Francis Lee Robertson, Roanoke; special friend, James Wood; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2007 at Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Rick Elmore and the Rev. Carl Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Lotz Funeral Home, Salem. on January 18, 2007.²

Among Mike's many passions were his love for animals and volleyball. Mike was an employee at General Electric with thirty years service. Robertson and Elizabeth Robertson; sisters, Cathy Lynne Edwards and Shirley Robertson Hawthrone and husband, John; brother, Jimmy Wayne Mottley and wife, Donna; sisters-in-law and husbands, Glenna and Elwood Rakes, Virginia and Kenneth Rakes, Barbara Lemmon, Blanche and Jere Pearsall and Carolyn and Wayne Kirk; brothers-in-law and wives, Richard and Shirley Cox and Chuck and Dawn Cox; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pall bearers will be Charles Bell, Andrew Morfesi, Richard Cox, David Robertson, Rutledge Robertson and William Stone. Honorary pall bearers are Earl G. and Dewey R. Robertson . Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at Oakey's North Chapel. The Rev, Keith Wingfield and Dr. Carl A. Collins will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Burial Park.
