Born April 12, 1968, in Charleston, she was the daughter of Paul Daugherty and the late Irene Daugherty. She is survived by her daughter, Natasha Daugherty; son, Shawn Daugherty; and grandson, Joshuah Daugherty. Also surviving are four brothers, Brady Paxton, Paul Daugherty, Jr., Billy Crockett and Michael Williams; two sisters, Janice Gwinn and Lisa Williams. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Fridley and Rick Fridley; along with two sisters, Kathy McCann and Mary McFarland. Memorial service will be conducted 7 p.m. Monday, December 15, at Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home, Charleston, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. on December 14, 2014.1

Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Clendenin Advent Christian Church with the Rev. Nahum Balser officiating. Burial will be in Oliver Family Cemetery, Clendenin, with Masonic graveside rites. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Knight-Young-Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin. on January 15, 1989.4

The 5 p.m. accident occurred about 1 mile south of Herbert Hoover High School. Deputy G.S. Young, the investigating officer, has not determined what caused Rucker to lose control of the car. She was an employee of Herbert Hoover High and had served 14 years with the Kanawha County Board of Education. She was a lifelong resident of Clendenin and was a member of the Clendenin Advent Christian Church where she was secretary, choir member and had served as deaconess. Surviving: son, Robert Rucker of Phoenix; daughter, Phyllis Ann Potter of Boca Raton, Fla; mother, Clara Oliver of Clendenin; brother, Sidney Oliver of Clendenin; sister, Billie Rose of Charleston; two grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Clendenin Advent Christian Church, Clendenin, with the Rev. Nahum Balser officiating. Burial will be in Oliver Cemetery, Clendenin. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, and one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Clendenin Advent Christian Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 482, Clendenin, W.Va. 25045. on May 28, 1991.4
