He loved his family and grandchildren; he enjoyed watching NASCAR, working outside, hunting and target shooting. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Brenda (Cox) Donham of Winchester; three sons, Steve Donham, Andy (Rhonda) Donham and Jake (Melynda) Donham, all of Winchester; one brother, Robert (Rose) Donham of Fountain City, Ind; grandchildren, Travis Mayfield, Megan and Wyatt Donham, Caleb and Emma Donham, Zane Orville Donham and Kolby Donham; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Walker Funeral Home in Winchester. Burial will follow in Buena Vista Cemetery, southwest of Winchester. She also enjoyed traveling and cooking. Surviving are three daughters, Jane A. Burger, Florida; Janet K. McNally, Kokbmo, Debra L. Farrell, Kokomo; daughter and son-in-law, Joyce F. and Bill Sears, Kokomo; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles Kevin McNally, Delphi, Mark A. and Melissa Yohn, Point Isabelle; brother, Jerry A. Jones, Kokomo; a sister, Esther W. Grant, Michigan City; granddaughter, Tamara Davis; granddaughter and husband, Kimberly and Steve Hatfield; three grandsons, Stephen and Shane Farrell and Joshua Farrell; granddaughter and husband, Melanie and Steve Hudson; grandson and wife, Jason and Jessica Mitchell; two granddaughters, Heather Yohn, Crystal Yohn; grandson, Justin Yohn; granddaughter, Jamie Yohn; five great-grandsons; eight great-granddaughters; several nieces and nephews. Bob graduated from Paseo H.S. in 1939, after which he joined the Navy. He achieved the rank of Chief Petty Officer at the age of 21. He was stationed on the ship Whitney on Dec. 7, 1941 when Pearl Harbor was bombed. During the 1990's he entertained with The Debonaires' tap dance group. For six years he worked with AARP assembling Braille books. Bob is survived by his brother Bill R. McVay and his wife Ruth Ann McVay; daughter Barbara Lee Johnson, grandchildren Jacki (Johnson) Wasinger with two great grandsons; Michael Jess Johnson II with two great grand daughters; step-daughter Cheryl Lynn Barnes and her husband John Barnes, grandchildren Jennifer Wolf and Amy Lopez with two great grandsons; 21-year partner Marvales Stannard, her daughter Sandy Swank, her son Larry Stannard, as well as many nieces and nephews. on July 26, 2009.⁴

Daniel, all of Clendenin; sisters, Ethel "Missy" Settle and Anna Hubbard, both of Charleston, Hazel Taylor and Rose King, both of Clendenin and Jane Taylor of Newton; and grandchildren, Brett and wife, Elizabeth, Haylli, Kylli, Bailey, Gabriel, Lilleigh, Christopher, Georgia and husband, Michael, Andrew, Garritt, Joshua, Dalton, Aaron and Rachel and husband, Neil. George was a hard worker and selflessly worked at an early age in order to support his family. A proud U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, he was also a member of the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union Local 625 and Masonic Lodge 126, Clendenin. George was the owner/operator of the successful Elmore Construction and vigorously cheered on his kids and grandkids, sponsoring several Little League baseball and softball teams. George was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend to many; he never knew a stranger. He enjoyed cooking and eating ramps with Lela, "zeerbing" his grandchildren, spending time with his dog, Sassy, attending Fairview Baptist Church, and watching Judge Judy on TV. "George" "Ebry" "Daddy" and/or "Pawpaw" will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
