Hanna, 72, died at his residence, 111 S. W. Eleventh avenue, on Thursday. Hanna came here 16 years ago from New York City. Surviving are the widow. Mrs. Effie M. Hanna, Miami, and a brother, Joseph H. Hanna, Roanoke. Va. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park cemetery. on July 21, 1939.⁴

Born June 19, 1954 in Princeton she was the daughter of Roberta Marie "Bo" Pennington Cheatwood of Princeton and the late Ray Bryant Cheatwood, Jr. Gail was a graduate of Athens High School and a graduate of Concord University with a B.S. Degree in Business. She was a sales representative with G.E. Fairchild in Glen Lyn, VA. Gail was an avid Princeton Rays fan, active in Bible in the Schools and 4-H, and was a member of the Carr Memorial United Methodist Church. Gail loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence K. "Larry" Pruett of Princeton; one son, Jordan Pruett of Princeton; one daughter, June-Marie Pruett of Princeton; three sisters, Donna Marie Wiggins of Clewiston, FL, Jolene Cheatwood and Barbara "Bobbie" Harman both of Baton Rouge, LA; and two brothers, Ray B. Cheatwood III and Frederik Eugene "Freddy" Cheatwood both of Princeton. Burial will follow at the Elgood Cemetery in Elgood, WV. on June 25, 2015.²

     Diana Kay Short Diana K. Cote, 78 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018. Mrs. Cote was born in Princeton, West Virginia and moved to Green Cove Springs six years ago. Diana was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Chief Roger N. Cote USN (Ret.) Together they moved throughout her husband’s career before retiring in Ocala, Florida. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her quiet time and spending time with her sister, nieces, and nephews. Mrs. Cote is survived by her sister, Sandy (Bud) Purvis, nephew, William Hynd, nieces, Debra Shagnea and Cheryl Lanosa and several great nieces and nephews.⁴ She was buried at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Duval Co., Florida.^5,6 She was born on November 8, 1939 at West Virginia.^5,6,7 As of August 6, 1971,her married name was Cote.³ She married Roger Normand Cote on August 6, 1971 at Broward Co., Florida.^2,3,4 Diana Kay Short died on March 3, 2018 at Florida at age 78.^5,4,6
