     Carrol Sue Hudnall was born circa 1944 at Riverside, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.¹ As of December 26, 1962,her married name was Pauley.² She married Sherman Franklin Pauley on December 26, 1962 at Chelyan, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^1,5,2 Carrol Sue Hudnall died on January 23, 2005 at Georgia.¹ She Mrs. Carrol Sue Hudnall Pauley, 61, of Marietta, Ga., went home to be with the Lord Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, after a very long and courageous battle with cancer. She was a loving mother, grandmother and Army wife of over 20 years. Carrol was born in Riverside, Kanawha County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Elsie and Herbert Hudnall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Marcella Pauley; two sisters, Anna Mae Bledsoe and Patsy Wendell; and a brother, Charles Hudnall. Carrol was a graduate of East Bank High School and a former resident of Crown Hill, W.Va. Carrol was a member of Central Baptist Church, Marietta, Ga. Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Sherman Pauley; a son, Dennis Pauley, and grandson, Arthur Wayne, of Mableton, Ga; brothers, Ronald Hudnall of Rand, W.Va., and William Hudnall of East Bank, W.Va; sisters, Bonna Wendell of Hansford, W.Va., Jane Graley of South Daytona, Fla., Margaret Ballanti of Weston, W.Va., and Jo Rose Samuels of Wimauma, Fla; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, at Pryor Funeral Home, East Bank. Burial will be in Montgomery Memorial Park, London, W.Va. Carmichael Funeral Home, Smyrna, Ga., is in charge of arrangements.

     Charles Alfred Hudnall married Cristal Ann Van Patten.^2,3 Charles Alfred Hudnall was born on February 22, 1932 at Ward, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.³ He married Jo Ann Perry on April 22, 1954 at Coalburg, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^2,7 Charles Alfred Hudnall died on March 17, 2004 at South Daytona, Volusia Co., Florida, at age 72.³ He SOUTH DAYTONA, Fla. - Charles Alfred Hudnall, 72, passed away March 17, 2004, in South Daytona. Mr. Hudnall was born Feb. 22, 1932, in Ward, W.Va., a son of the late Hubert and Elsie Peters Hudnall. He was also preceded in death by his son, Terry Allen Hudnall. He owned and operated Charles' Standard Oil Station, Daytona Beach, from 1968 to 1973, and worked as a new car manager for Lloyd Buick-Cadillac from 1975 until his retirement in 1987. He also worked at NSS and OSW for many years. He served in the U.S. Army and was Korean War veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of First Baptist Church of South Daytona and Riverside Church, Riverside, W.Va., and American Legion Post 270. He enjoyed NASCAR, short-track racing, Christmas and children. He is survived by his wife, Cristal Van Patten Hudnall; daughters, Tanga Jean Lewandowski of Saudi Arabia, Theresa Ann Waples of South Daytona, Tina Jo Hammacher of New Smyrna Beach, Fla; two brothers, Ronald Hudnall of Rand, W.Va., William Hudnall of Crown Hill, W.Va; five sisters, Bonna Wendell of East Bank, W.Va., Jane Graley of South Daytona, Carrol Pauley of Marietta, Ga., Margaret Billanti of Weston, W.Va., JoRose Samuals of Wimauma, Fla; grandchildren, Arlisa, Walter, Brian, Bernard, John and Tammara; and great-grandchildren, Allia and Charles. Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, at Daytona Funeral Home, Daytona Beach, Fla. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
