Amanda Gail Webster, 17, died Friday at UNC Hospitals. She was a rising senior at Enloe. Jennifer Leigh Webster, Amanda's sister, said the teenager was injured in a collision as she drove to school. She turned into the path of an oncoming vehicle near New Bern Avenue. She was a patient at Wake Medical Center for three weeks, then was transferred to UNC Hospitals for treatment of internal bleeding. Jennifer Leigh Webster said her sister loved to dance to country music and was "a regular kid." "She really liked to talk on the phone and be with her friends. She was a typical 17-year-old," she said. The funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Calvary Baptist Church in Raleigh. Burial will be in Raleigh Memorial Park. In addition to her sister, Amanda Gail Webster is survived by her parents, Steven "Buddy" and Natalie Y. Webster; a step-sister, Crystal Webster Layton of Wendell; and her maternal grandparents, Nat and Mildred Yancey of Rougemont. on June 24, 1996.5

Also surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Martha Robertson, Mrs. Bertha Booth, Mrs. Lottie Vaden and Mrs. Jennie Yancey, all of South Boston, and Mrs. Hattie Long of Roxboro, N.
