Interment was in the Hillside Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Minnie, of the home; two brothers, Luthers, Antlers, Lester, Portersville, Calif; four sisters, Mrs. Ettie Spangler, Dibble; Mrs. Marve Smalley, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Annie Walker, Pocasset; and Mrs. Lector Ard, Weatherford, Texas. Pall bearers were; Joe Aday, Lawrence Mantooth, Earnest Julian, Knox Murrell, Chuck pritchett, and Ozie Weaver.² He was buried at Hillside Cemetery, Purcell, McClain Co., Oklahoma.² He was born on July 17, 1890 at Pauls Valley, Garvin Co., Oklahoma.^2,3 He married Minnie T. Spangler, daughter of Joseph Monroe Spangler and Rebecca Ellen "Becky" Poff, on January 22, 1911 at Seminole Co., Oklahoma.^1,2 Thomas Jefferson "Tom" Hogue died in January, 1967 at Purcell, McClain Co., Oklahoma, at age 76.^2,3

He was born December 12, 1928 in Coatesville, PA. Serving in the U.S. Air Force until his retirement, he then went to work for NSA. He was a Past Commander of American Legion Post #226. Les was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Poff. He is survived by his son, Roy Poff of Grifton, NC; his daughters, Judy Carr of Davidsonville and Darcy Poff of Annapolis; his brother, Raymond Poff of Glen Burnie; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, Inc., 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis. Inurnment at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, at Maryland State Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Rd., Crownsville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, or the Salvation Army. on November 3, 2013.³
