The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2001, at the Horne Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Neal Turner, Rev. Wayne Parsons and Rev. Judy Reimer. Interment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery (private). In remembrance, those that wish may make contributions to the Joy Ranch Home for Children, P.O. Box 727, Hillsville, Va. 24343. Women's Club, and was a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was the widow of Samuel Q. "Quentin"' Reed. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. David (Texie) Doolittle, Elkhart, Ind; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Hollingsworth of Grace Lutheran Church officiating. The body has been cremated. Burial will be at a later date at Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial donations be made to Greencroft Center in Goshen, Ind. or the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 637, Rockingham, N.C. 28380. on January 27, 1998.4

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Oakey's North Chapel by the Rev. George M. Pearson Jr. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until service time at Oakey's North Chapel. on August 16, 1994.9
