Brad was born Sept. 23, 1957 and was the son of Eveleyn McLaughlin of Procious and the late Donald McLaughlin. Brad was a 1976 graduate of Clay County High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps and later joined the Army National Guard, where he retired with over 20 years of service. Brad was employed by the West Virginia Division of Highways, Clay, and was supervised by his friend Clark Samples, whom he loved and highly respected. Brad loved his life and considered himself very blessed. He loved spending every possible moment with his loved ones and always lived life to the fullest. He also had a passion for music and playing drums. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and attended Procious Community Church. Brad left behind the loves of his life: his loving wife and best friends, Diana of Clay; daughter, Leslie, son-in-law, Jeff, and granddaughter, Kendall Tucker of Charleston. He loved his family with such a passion that it truly showed in his everyday life. His granddaughter, Kendall, was the apple of his eye; he loved and adored her with all his heart. Brad loved, admired and had a great respect for his uncle, Roland Eagle, and his wife, Patty; and cousin, Erica, her husband, Zack Fisher, and their son. Blake. Brad loved and cherished the great brotherly-like friendship he shared with Sam Butcher, his wife, Loita, and their son, Alex. Kelsea Paige Gill also held a very special place in his heart. Brad loved and considered his family: Leslie and Tina Snodgrass and family, Roger and Mary Pryor and J.B. Butcher and family. Burial will be in the A.J. Samples Cemetery, Procious, with military graveside rites conducted by Clay VFW Post 4419. on December 29, 2008.²

     Lois Walker was buried at Farris Cemetery, Riner, Montgomery Co., Virginia.² She was born on January 31, 1931 at Boone Co., Iowa.^1,3 As of September 7, 1946,her married name was Earles.¹ She married Donald Gordon Earles, son of Alfred Dewey Earles and Honer Craven Sumner, on September 7, 1946 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^1,2,4 Lois Walker died on July 6, 2021 at Virginia at age 90.² She Lois Walker Earles, 90 of Riner, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Earles; son, Jimmy Earles; grandchildren, Ursula Woolwine and Jason Earles; great-grandson, Tray Turley; and four siblings. Lois was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her and a faithful Christian. She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Donald G. Earles; sons and daughter-in-law, Johnny Earles, and Joey and Terri Earles; daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Gene Furrow, and Vickie and Kenny Waller; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Interment will follow in the Farris Cemetery. on July 8, 2021.²
