He is survived by his wife, Juanita Evans; three sons, Earl of Gephart Rd., Wheelersburg Rt. 1, Don, 1927 Grant St., and George M., at home; a sister, Mrs. Violet Pierce of Franklin Furnace; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Rev. Frank Williams is to conduct services at 2 p.m. Friday at Harrison Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. Burial is to be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. on September 19, 1973.2

Born November 24, 1930, he was the son of the late Melvin Lee Henson and Effie Louise Martin. Frank was the oldest living member at the Fayetteville Baptist Church, where he became a member in 1948. He was also a veteran of the United States Army and a retiree from Elkem Metals/Union Carbide. He was preceded in death by his wife and childhood sweetheart, Betty Myers Henson, his brother Edward "Hink" Henson (surviving wife Connie) of Florida, and by his sister, Betty Jo Goddard and brother-in-law Harold Goddard of Michigan. Survivors include daughters Cathy (Steve) Broughman of Oak Hill and Jeannie (David) Morris of Charleston. Grandchildren include Stephen Broughman II, Stephanie (Jared) Lipscomb, Jacob Henry Morris and Samuel Stone Morris, and a host of very special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, November 12th, 2018 at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, in Fayetteville, with Pastors Michael Belcher (nephew) and David Sneed officiating. Entombment will follow at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12 pm on Monday at the funeral home. Special thanks to the loving workers at Hospice of Southern WV and loving family, friends, and neighbors. on November 8, 2018.2
