Born January 14th, 1933, in Eccles, he was the son of the late Fred H. and Bertha Ann O'Neal Clyburn. Robert spent his childhood in Beckley before moving to Charleston. He worked as a yardman at Raleigh Junk Company in Charleston for over 30 years before coming back to MacArthur in 1984. He attended the Church of God Family Worship Center in Beckley as long as his health permitted. Robert enjoyed being a CB operator (handle "Red Mule") in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife Iris Ann Clyburn on May 22, 2001, and a daughter Barbara Ann Clyburn on January 3rd, 2015. One brother Harold Clyburn, and two sisters Eva Walker and Ruby Dillow also preceded him in death. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Mae Clyburn of MacArthur, two sons Daniel and Robert Clyburn both of Marion, NC, two step daughters Diana Brewer and husband Richard of Lincolnton, NC, and Ruby Milam of Beckley. One brother Calvin Clyburn of Beckley, one sister Janice Dillow of Covington, Virginia. One grandson, three granddaughters, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson also survive. Entombment will follow in the Blue Ridge Memorial Garden in Beckley. Pallbearers will be Kirk Bandy, Richard Brewer Jr., Daniel Clyburn, Hunter Mabes, John Wheeler, and Lee Wheeler. on April 20, 2019.3

She is survived by one daughter, Melissa Marsh; two sons, Mark Dillow of Waynesboro and Joe Dillow, II and wife, Jamie of Louisa; two brothers, Calvin Clayburn and Robert Clayburn; one sister, Janice Dillow and husband, Walter; six grandchildren, Amber Durham and husband, Chase, Jacob Dillow, Nicholas Dillow, Davis Marsh, Mark Dillow, II, and Tyler Dillow; and two great-grandchildren, Houston Marsh and Chase Durham. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jonathan Marsh; one brother, Harold Clayburn; and a sister, Eva Cole. Interment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville. And they would like to thank the staff of UVA Medical Center 3east for all of their wonderful care. on January 24, 2018.3

Calvin is survived by a sister, Janice Dillow of Virginia.
