He was born November 1, 1989, in Charlottesville, a son of James Edward and Melissa Ann Dillow Marsh. Mr. Marsh was a volunteer at the Waynesboro and North Garden Fire and Rescue Departments. In addition to his parents, family members include a son, Houston Marsh; a brother, David Wayne Marsh of Waynesboro; his grandmother, Ruby Dillow; uncles, Mark Dillow, Joey Dillow, William Marsh, Jr., Charles Marsh, Russell Marsh, and Henry Wieberg, Jr; great uncles, David Wood and Walter Dillow; aunts, Jamie Dillow, Lisa Dillow, Linda Marsh, Barbara Huynh, Brenda Tibbs, Mary Ellen Wieberg; great aunts, Alice Andes and Janice Dillow; and numerous cousins and close friends.      Sandra Elaine Jones Sandra Jones Dorman, 56, of Amherst, passed away at her home on Monday, August 24, 2020. Born November 4, 1963, she was a daughter of the late Fred Jones and Mabel Matney Jones. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Hassle Matney and her grandmother, Elsie Matney. In addition to her mother, Sandra is survived by her husband, Charles A. Dorman; son, Eric W Jones; daughter, Kimberly Pompper; a sister, Brenda Shifflett and her husband, Jeff Shifflett; and many well-loved nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Sandra’s sister-in-law, Brenda, Charles’ sister, who lovingly cared for her while Charles worked. Sandra worked hard making a loving home for her family whom she adored. In her free time, enjoyed crocheting, taking trips to the beach, and family gatherings. She truly enjoyed spoiling her many nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Oak Hill First Brethren Church and had attended the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene for fifteen years. Vicky leaves behind a loving family which includes husband, Leroy Leslie Gilbert; daughter, Leslie Lynn Gilbert of Lochgelly; son, Daniel Lee Gilbert of Roanoke, VA; and a sister, Jean Sharon Burton of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Dr. Randy James officiating.
