He leaves his wife, Doris; daughters Debra Lee and Georgia Lynn; sons, Charles and James; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Morgan of Charleston and brothers James of Akron and Howard of Detroit. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. on February 19, 1966.²

Mrs. Morgan, the former "Peggie" Curtin of Ferndale, was born in Okmulgee, Okla., and came to Michigan when she was 6. She graduated from St. James High School in 1941 and went to work for Michigan Bell. She also was a switching translator in the Southfield office and was a member of the Greater Detroit Council of Telephone Pioneers. She is survived by her mother, Margaret Curtin of Ferndale; two sisters, Aileen Bonin of Albuquerque, N.M., and Sister M. Rebecca, S.S.J, of Ferndale; three brothers Thomas Curtin of Dawsonville, Ga., Patrick Curtin of Ferndale and the Rev. James Curtin of Melvindale; three nieces; and two nephews. Her husband, Howard W. Morgan, died Sept. 13, 1990. Visitation will be today from 2-9 p.m. at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 N Telegraph, Taylor, with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Paschal Baylon Church, 22210 Champaign, Taylor. on April 14, 1996.²

     Freda Harper was buried at Cummings Cemetery, Walton, Roane Co., West Virginia.¹ She was born on June 10, 1912 at West Virginia. She died on January 29, 1994 at Walton, Roane Co., West Virginia, at age 81.¹ She Mrs. Freda Harper Cunningham, 81, of Walton died Saturday, Jan. 29, 1994, at home after a short illness She was a former member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Walton Surviving: son, Orville Elmore of Elkview; brother, Walter Harper of Walton; sisters, Effie Swiney, Libby Aab, Lucille Mumper and Betty Harris, of Elkview, Ruth Ashley of Clendenin; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with the Rev. Charles Davis officiating. Burial will be in Cummings Cemetery, Long Ridge, Walton. on January 31, 1994.¹

"Tee" Settle Elmore, 77, of Amma, formerly of Elkview, died at the home of her caregiver, Maria Brown, after an extended illness. She was born Aug. 8, 1925, in Fayette County, daughter of the late Samuel F. and Oice organization live Judy Settle. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Orville H. Elmore; and brothers, Ed and Paul Settle. She attended Beckley College, was a member of the American Business Women's Association, former co-owner of West Virginia Kitchens and former accountant for Howell and Paterno CPAs. She is survived by her sons, Eric H. Elmore and Stephen C. Elmore and his wife, Reba, all of Nokesville, Va; daughter, Dr. Sandra J. Elmore of Nitro; grandchildren, Justin and Greg Elmore. Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with the Rev. Ted Tawney officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park, Charleston. on December 16, 2002.²
