He was retired from Clawson Manufacturing Co., Kalamazoo, where he was a tool and die maker. Survivors include: his wife, the former Nina Hill, whom he married Oct. 26, 1935; two daughters Mrs. Roy (Donis) Hatcher of Clarkston, Mich, and Mrs. Jean Billings of Waterford, Mich; one son, Paul of Cedar Springs, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. on April 23, 1986.4
