She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Surviving are her children, Roger Foley (Ruth), Doug Foley (Terri), Tracy Foley; nine grandchildren, Melissa, Samantha, Melinda, Ray, Harley, Hayden, Hannah, Tessa and Amy; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews including special nieces, Betty Johnson, Lorna Jones and Denise Jones; special friend, Cicero Perdue; and her family at Tanyard Village.      Cora Lee Ransom was buried at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.1 Her married name was Hall.1 She married Paris Lake "Billy" Hall, son of Joseph Montague/Montegue "Joe" Hall and Wilberta "Wilbertie" Meador.1 Cora Lee Ransom was born on September 3, 1921 at Beaver, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.1 She died on May 17, 2010 at Palm Bay, Brevard Co., Florida, at age 88.1 She PALM BAY, Fla. — Cora Lee Ransom Hall, age 88, of Palm Bay, Fla., formerly of Tank Branch Road, Glen Morgan, died Monday, May 17, 2010, in Palm Bay, Florida. Mrs. Hall was born on September 3, 1921, at Beaver, and was the daughter of the late Oppie L. and Cora Jane Johnson Ransom. The former Raleigh County resident and LPN, Mrs. Hall was a retired elementary school teacher with the Raleigh County Board of Education, spending most of her teaching career at Beaver Elementary School. She had lived in Titusville, Florida, for the past 25 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paris "Billy" Hall, by sisters, Marza Lilly, Susan Ransom, and Pearl Underwood, by brothers, Dale, Charlie, and Noel Ransom. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Aurantia Church in Mims, Florida, where she had numerous friends and acquaintances. Survivors include her sister, Doris Dempsey of Titusville, Florida, and three nieces and seven nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, on Monday, May 24, 2010, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Orville Setliff officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley. on May 23, 2010.1
