     Buren Wayne Cole Buren (Bo) Cole, age 73 of Sparks, Nevada passed away August 25th, 2023 at the age of 73. Buren was born September 7, 1949 in Beckley, West Virginia. Buren entered the United States Marine Corps on September 14, 1966, seven days after turning seventeen. Buren received several commendations as well as two purple hearts during his assignment to Viet Nam. Upon his discharge as Sgt. on October 20, 1969 Buren returned to Sparks, NV and joined the Sparks Police Department, where he served as a field training officer, S.W.A.T Team member, bomb technician, as well as in the Consolidated Narcotics Unit during the years of 1972-1989 and returned as a Sergeant. Buren is survived by his wife, Beverly of 54 years; his daughter Beverly Kindness (Robert); grandson, Liam; and granddaughter, Skylee. Buren is predeceased by his son, Shane Carl Cole, who passed away in 2008. Buren loved his family to the fullest. He would have done anything and everything for them; to which he actually accomplished most of the time.
