Melvin retired from the U.S. Army following a prestigious 23 year military career. Among other accomplishments, Melvin served two tours in Vietnam, participated and completed Airborne, Recondo, and Ranger Schools and was a highly-respected Jumpmaster and Air Assault School Instructor. Following retirement Melvin was a driver for Florim USA.
