     Julian DeForest Walker Julian DeForest Walker, 84, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away Friday, February 28, 2020 at his residence. A native of Chickamauga, Georgia he has lived in the Chattanooga area for the past 28 years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a retired employee of Combustion Engineering. He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Jean Cole Walker; parents, Joe Pickens and Bessie Nunn Walker; two sons, Dirk Walker and Joe Walker; and three brothers, Jack Walker, Joe Walker, and Jim Walker. He is survived by four grandchildren, Angela (Tim) Ballard, Amy (David) Hollis, Blake Walker, and Jan Cottom; seven great grandchildren, Danielle, Raine, Blaine, Abigal, Addison, Braydon, and Violet; one great great grandson, Issiah; brother, Jerry Walker of Atlanta, GA; sister, Jean Jones of Chickamauga, GA; several nieces and nephews.¹ He married Anna Jean Cole, daughter of Hubert Gledon Cole and Vera Alice Gwinn.¹ Julian DeForest Walker was born on August 1, 1935. He died on February 28, 2020 at Chattanooga, Hamilton Co., Tennessee, at age 84.¹

She was born November 20, 1941 to Gaddis G. and Mary (Cole) McKee in Clovis, New Mexico. Kathy grew up as a Navy brat, which resulted in her having spent time in her childhood in Florida, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico and California. It was at South Western College where Kathy met the love of her life, Jerry Roberts. Married July 4, 1963, Kathy and Jerry remained in the California area where they trained and raced horses till Jerry joined the Air Force. The family underwent a few moves until Jerry was stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base in 1972, where she lived till her passing. Kathy was highly involved with her family, never missing any of her children's activities, often taking the role of team mom. She was a devoted member of St. Charles Parish and enjoyed serving the church in many ways. Kathy was an extreme lover of all animals especially family pets which brought her much joy. Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Jerry; sister, Pat (Bruce) Blackburn of Wisconsin; brother, Max (Anita) McKee of San Diego; daughters, Chris (Richard) Toennis of Spokane and Sharon (Rodell) Allado of Chatsworth; son, Grady Roberts (Serra Barron) of Spokane; grandchildren, Matthew Toennis, Dustin Allado and Haley Allado and numerous nieces and nephews. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Jerry McKee, mother, Mary McKee and brother, Michael McKee. A Vigil Service will be held Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 7 PM at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 16, 2010 at 12 Noon at St. Charles Catholic Church. on April 14, 2010.¹
