He continued to work at NS in computer systems security for seven years as a consultant. He also worked closely with his son in their Human Factors & Ergonomics Consulting business for many years providing essential computer and administrative support. He was a member of Grandin Court Baptist Church for 35 years, and in the past eight years has been a member of Colonial Avenue Baptist Church. He served for many years as a deacon at both churches, and ran the sound equipment at both as well. He was known as a very kind and selfless gentleman that had many friends, and took wonderful care of his family. He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Darhlene Wright Holland; his daughter, Susan and son-in-law, Hamid Hasheminejad, CPA; his son, Dr. Dwight Holland; his "little buddy," Evan and brother, Ian Motley; and his granddog, Ranger. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; his mother-in-law, Louvena Wright; and lifelong friends, Neil Angle, Paul Tolusso, and "G.W." Williams. He also lost many other relatives in recent years he deeply missed. He received outstanding medical care at the Carilion Clinic during his month long, and previous hospitalizations. His medical care providers were exceptional on 9 South PCU/ICU. Special thanks to his many fine nurses and staff, his PA-C Sue Campbell, and Drs. Dexter DeLeon, Robert Keeley, Joe Baker, Scott Arnold/team, Lowell Inhorn, and Dr. Matthew Billups. The family also appreciates the pastoral support through the many years provided by the Revs. Hamner, Motley, J. Scott, M. Scott, Spangler, Johnston, and Meyer. on August 22, 2009.3

He also leaves a special sister-in-law, Carta Hodges Helton; brother-in-law, Gary Helton; and a very special niece, Joleigh Helton. He will be much missed by his other favorite girl, his sheltie, Jasmine. Kyle leaves behind several loving grandparents: his own grandparents, Clyde and Gladis Lehman and Dewey and Viola Harmon, and Angie's grandparents, Harlan and Mary Bowman and Edith Hodges. Kyle also leaves many special aunts and uncles and cousins, plus numerous friends in Richmond and Roanoke, Virginia, where he was born and lived until he left to attend Virginia Tech. Kyle never met a stranger. He loved life. Kyle and Angle had built a home together in Richmond, Kyle always took great pride in his home. In his younger years, he played basketball, baseball, soccer and golf. He continued to play sports as an adult, with golf quickly becoming his favorite. Church was important to Kyle. He grew up in the Church of the Brethren. When he and Angie moved to Richmond, they attended several churches before finding a loving and supportive church family at Mount Vernon Baptist Kyle's life enriched the lives of all those he met His smile will be forever etched in our hearts. Even in death, Kyle reminds us: "Life is so fragile, Loss is so sudden; Hearts are so broken, But hope is so eternal!" Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Park, Rocky Mount, Va. on February 23, 2005.7 He The wife of a Virginia man who was killed in the crash of a Circuit City Stores Inc. jet in February 2005 has received a $3.5 million settlement, according to court documents. Kyle Jeffrey Harmon, a 26- year-old assistant buyer for the Richmond electronics company, was one of eight killed when the corporate jet crashed while battling icy conditions on approach to the Pueblo, Colo., airport to refuel. The plane was en route from Richmond to Santa Ana, Calif. Circuit City and Richmondbased Martinair Inc., which managed the plane, agreed to pay y $3.5 million to Angela Harmon, according to documents filed in Roanoke County Circuit Court. The agreement reached last month releases the companies from any further claims in Harmon's death. The settlement was reached out of court before any lawsuit was filed. on December 9, 2006.9
