Hughes, 94 of Parkersburg died November 7, 2007 at the Eagle Pointe Care Facility. She was born in Gilmer County, WV, the daughter of the late John and Nancy Dobbins Perine. She had worked for several years as a nurses aid at St. Joseph's Hospital and then attended Nursing School and obtained her L.P.N. and continued to work at the hospital and later worked as a private duty nurse in homes. Theresa was known for her wit and for her willingness to help others. She was a member of the Pinellas Park Church of Christ in Pinellas Park FL and attended the Camden Avenue Church of Christ. She is survived by her son, Jim Hughes and his wife Sandy of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Dustin Hughes of Vienna and Holly Ekkins of Columbus, OH; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Carl M. Hughes in 1990; and five Brothers, Arkie, Lee, Dewey, John and Goff Perine. Funeral services will be Friday at 3:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkerburg with Evangelist Dana Slingluff officiating. Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters and their spouses, Melissa and Willie Havens of Montcalm, Joni and Steven King of Lashmeet; her former husband and the father of her children, Bill Morris; five grandchildren, Christina Sexton, Zachary Havens, Brooklyn Havens, Isabella King and Santanna Blankenship; two brothers, Everett Hutchinson and wife Lynn, Danny Hutchinson and wife Sandy; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday (today) from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Larry Dyer otficialing. Following her services the family will honor her request with cremation and burial in the Brown Cemetery, Hardy. on September 6, 2011.4

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Stanley Metz officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery at Hardy. Pallbearers will be David Hutchinson, Brandon Hutchinson, Willie Haven, Stephen King, Jerry Blankenship and Kenny Farley. on September 27, 2007.5
