She is survived by her four sons and their wives: Edward Hampton and Rose of Billings, Bob Hampton and Joan of Riverton, Wyo., Bill Dove and Donna of Laurel, Dave Crosmer and Janis of Huntley; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and her closest and best friend, Ruth Steward, with whom she shared so many hours of friendship, volunteer work, church and happiness. Thank you Ruth, we appreciate your friendship to our Mom. We will miss you Gramma. Funeral services and viewing will be held at the Smith West Chapel, 304 34th St. W. She attended schools in Cheyenne and Fort Collins. She was married to V. G. (Gus) Goodwin in Sapulpa, Okla. May 28, 1933. Following their marriage they lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Salinas, Kan., Casper, Wyo., and Yakima, Wash, before coming to Billings in 1948. Mrs. Goodwin was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Edna Hedges chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. She was very active in bowling, having bowled for more than nine years on the American Floor Company team. Survivors include the widower; three sons, Billy Dee Goodwin, 4428 Morgan Ave., Grady Lee Goodwin and Michael Gene Goodwin, both at home; her mother and stepfather Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Jaynes, 37 Washington St; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Vroman of Casper, Wyo. and Mrs. Kenneth Crosmer. 37 Washington St; a brother, William Whittaker of Los Angeles, Calif, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Dahl-Brown Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Donovan A. Myers of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. on August 20, 1961.³
