He also enjoyed woodworking, making tables, lazy susans and various other items. David's belief in God was very strong, and he and his wife Michelle read the Bible daily. The couple were fortunate to go on many vacations together. Their home was their castle. David Golden is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Golden; two children, David William Golden of St. Louis, and Jamie Lynn Golden of St. Louis; two step-sons, Jacob Beckman of Jefferson City, and Matt Beckman and fiancee Ashley Hemmer of O'Fallon, Mo; one brother, Daniel (Jody) Golden of Mt. Carmel; one sister, Melody (Fred) Denton of Princeton, Ind; one sister-in-law, Rachelle Rule, Breese, Ill; one brother-in-law, Eddie (Sharon) Rule of Carlyle, Ill; nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William Richard Golden. Interment will follow in the Old Alexandria Cemetery, Troy, Mo., with full military honors accorded him. on March 13, 2008.2

Marjorie Ellen Middagh was buried at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bridgeport, Lawrence Co., Illinois.2 She was born on February 25, 1907 at Lawrence Co., Illinois.1,2 She died on June 16, 1909 at Bridgeport, Lawrence Co., Illinois, at age 2.1,2 She The first of last week the twin children of Benny Middaugh living on the state road east of here, found some matches and ate the heads off. The children once became ill and physicians were called but one of the little ones died. The other recovered from the effects of the poison. The following is an obituary that was read at the funeral held on Wednesday. Little Marjorie Ellen, twin daughter of Benna and Alma Middaugh was born in Lawrence County, Illinois, February 25, 1907 and died June 16, 1909, agee two years, four months, and 27 days. Marjorie was a bright little jewel and will be greatly missed in the home. While we cannot understand why our loved one was taken from us, yet we are willing to submit to our heavenly father knowing he doeth us all things well. A kind and loving mother, a loving father, two sisters, other relatives and a host of friends are left to mourn their their loss. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. A. Hall, Friday afternoon June 18th at the residence, after which the little body was laid to rest in the cemetery at White House. on June 24, 1909.2
