Interment services will be held at 1:00 pm at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. A native of McKee’s Rocks, PA, Mrs. Janney was a homemaker and was a retired sales associate with the J.C. Penney Co. She was a member of Loganville First United Methodist Church. Joann was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Janney and her son, Mark C. Janney. After high school, Mark served in the Air Force where one of final duty assignments was Hancock Air Force Base. Following his discharge, he stayed in the Syracuse area and later graduated from OCC with a degree in Business Administration. While attending college, he met and later married Diane Livermore on May 7, 1982 at the Dewitt Community Church. Mark worked for Grater Syracuse Moving and Storage Co., Inc., as a relocation consultant. He had previously worked many years as a food sales representative for various food distributors. Mark also coached little league team for Morrisville, Eaton, Smithfield Youth Commission. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Diane; two sons, Ryan and Sean both at home; his mother, Joann Janney of Stone Mountain, GA; his maternal grandmother, Pearl Brueckman of Charlotte, NC; a sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Wallis Leavell of Knoxville, TN; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Sherry Janney of Atlanta, GA and Douglas and Tammy Janney of Loganville, GA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive Mark. Mark was predeceased by his father, Charles on May 1, 2006. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Paul Funeral Home of Madison. Interment will be at Madison Village Cemetery. on May 16, 2006.5
