Born on February 28, 1979, in Danville, he was a son of Robert Yeatts and Libby Reynolds Yeatts of the residence. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Hilda Wright Reynolds. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Stacey Lynn Yeatts of Hurt; two brothers, Jason Robert Yeatts and Matthew Wayne Yeatts, both of Sandy Level; paternal grandparents, Guy and Eliza Fitzgerald Yeatts of Sandy Level; maternal grandfather, Russell ("Cotton") Reynolds of Chatham, and a niece, Sierra Nicole Duffer. Phillips, 41, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Phillips of Newport News, died Sunday folowing a heart attack at his home in Whitmell. He was principal of Whitmell High School and a member of the official board of Whitmell Methodist Church. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kathleen Yeats Phillips; two daughters, Misses Sue and Linda Phillips of Whitmell; five sisters, Mrs. Elmore Wilcox of Newport News, Mrs. F. M. Shuffleberger of Westchester, Pa; Mrs. M. D. Gilligan of Westminister, Md; Mrs. H. J. Taylor of Clarksburg, W.Va., and Mrs. J. N. Trapp of Melbourne, Fla., and a brother, Henry V. Phillips of Moorestown, N.J. on December 12, 1961.²

     Lucretia Creasy "Lou" Dodd was buried at Charles Scott Farm Cemetery, 2048 Taylors Mill Road, Gretna, Pittsylvania Co., Virginia.⁴ She was born in 1854 at Virginia.⁴ As of 1876,her married name was Yeatts.¹ She married James Henry Yeatts, son of Willis C. Yeatts and Mary Ann Bennett, in 1876.^1,2 Lucretia Creasy "Lou" Dodd died on April 25, 1931 at Alexandria, Virginia.²

     Nannie Belle Yeatts was buried at Gretna Burial Park, Gretna, Pittsylvania Co., Virginia.^3,5 She was born on November 7, 1876 at Pittsylvania Co., Virginia; Her gravestone has a birth date of Nov 1, 1876.^2,6,5 As of February 24, 1895,her married name was Shelton.⁴ She married James Crews Shelton on February 24, 1895 at Caswell Co., North Carolina.^5,7,4 Nannie Belle Yeatts died on March 14, 1960 at Danville, Virginia, at age 83.^3,5 She Mrs. Belle Yeatts Shelton, 83, of Danville, died Monday at a Danville hospital. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Elsie Shelton and Mrs. Rison Shelton of Danville; two sons, Paul Shelton of Hillsboro, N.C. and Clyde Shelton of Martinsville; a brother, Jimmie Yeatts of Gretna; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Pickeral and Mrs. Ruth Motley of Richmond and Mrs. Janie Oaks of Clifton Forge. Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Colbert Funeral Home with burial in Gretna Burial Park. on March 15, 1960.³
