It is with a sad and broken heart that we tell of the passing of our daughter, Stacy Lynn Finney of Hoschton, Ga., who was 47 and lived a challenging life as she was mentally challenged from birth and was diagnosed as bi-polar at about 22. She was in Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell, Ga. for most of November. She is survived by her parents, Curtis and Donna Garven Finney of Hoschton, Ga., formerly of Roanoke: brother, Kevin Finney of Cloverdale, Va; uncle, James L. Finney and wife, Karen, of Linden, N.C; aunt, Vicki Garven Dalton of Fincastle, Va; her boyfriend of 25 years who could light up her eyes, Hal Shrake of Edgewater, Fla; and a very loving family and friends. She attended Botetourt High School and graduated from Duluth High School in Duluth, Ga. after our transfer to Georgia. She loved being outside, around people, walking and her absolute passion in life was coloring pictures and distributing them to everyone who would take them. We pray God has an unending supply of Mickey Mouse coloring books and crayons. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Salem, Va. on December 14, 2022.2
