     Michael Eugene Lee Michael Eugene Lee, 67, of Madison Heights, died on Monday, June 3, 2019, after a short battle with renal cancer. Born September 28,1951, Mike was a son of the late Aubrey Eugene Lee and the late Doris Faye Ewers Lee. Mike is survived by his wife, Adelaide Draper Lee, and their children Elizabeth Lee and Draper Lee and his wife, Amanda, and their children, Aubrey and Mackenzie. Mike is also survived by his daughter Michelle Lee and her children, Dylan and Lauren. Mike is survived by brothers Randall Lee, and Eric Lee and his wife , Jennifer, nephews, Daniel Lee, and his wife Casey, and Adam Lee and niece Alaina Lee. Mike was an avid lover of the James River and the outdoors. He passed that love along to his children and all who interacted with him. He also had a passion for genealogy and for local Civil War and WWII history. Mike and Adelaide recently moved back to the family land where Mike grew up. He loved sharing stories and the history of the property. His German Shorthaired Pointer, Annabelle, was his constant companion. A funeral will be held at the Ewers’ Family Cemetery located at the end of S. Hillcrest Dr.4 He was buried at Ewers Family Cemetery, South Hillcrest Drive, Madison Heights, Amherst Co., Virginia.4 He was born on September 28, 1951 at Lynchburg, Virginia.2,4,6 He married Audrey Lynn Durham on October 7, 1972 at Eden, Rockingham Co., North Carolina.3,5 Michael Eugene Lee and Audrey Lynn Durham were divorced on December 9, 1977 at Amherst Co., Virginia.3 Michael Eugene Lee married Adelaide Louise Draper on October 27, 1990 at Lynchburg, Virginia.2,4 Michael Eugene Lee died on June 3, 2019 at Madison Heights, Amherst Co., Virginia, at age 67.4
