Mrs. Forbes was born July 11, 1937 in Clifton Forge, a daughter of the late Reginald Wine Reid and Helen Pearl Williams Reid. She was a graduate of Clifton Forge High School, Clifton Forge, Virginia and Dunsmore Business College, Lynchburg, Virginia. She was a member of the Junior Women's Club. She enjoyed photography and sewing. She retired as a secretary and a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are son, Mark Edward Forbes of Freehold, NY; daughters, Diane Marie Ulman of Dryden, Michigan and Pamela Reid Strauss of Summerville, SC; grandchildren, Anna Marciano of Albany, NY, Chadwick Forbes of Germany, Angela and Zachary Ulman both of Dryden, Michigan, Trinity, Jacqueline and Sydney Strauss all of Summerville; one great granddaughter; sister, Arnalda Richardson of Elizabeth City, NC, and several nieces and nephews.6 She was buried at Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor, Alleghany Co., Virginia.6,8 She was born on July 11, 1937 at Clifton Forge, Alleghany Co., Virginia.2,6,7,4 As of April 4, 1959,her married name was Forbes.2 She married Phillip Edward Forbes on April 4, 1959 at Clifton Forge, Alleghany Co., Virginia.2,3 Rose Marie Reid died on October 2, 2007 at North Charleston, Charleston Co., South Carolina, at age 70.6,7

     Robert McQueen Street was buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 326 Lovers Lane, Vicksburg, Warren Co., Mississippi.2 He and Arnalda Anne Reid were divorced.1 Robert McQueen Street was born on April 6, 1932.2 He married Arnalda Anne Reid, daughter of Reginald Wine Reid and Pearl Helen Williams, on February 10, 1956 at Wilmington, New Castle Co., Delaware.4 Robert McQueen Street died on July 7, 1968 at Warren Co., Mississippi, at age 36.2,3 He Vicksburg - The son of a prominent Vicksburg surgeon was drowned Sunday when the powerboat he was operating crashed into a group of barges. The body of Robert M. Street, 32, son of Dr. and Mrs. Gus Street, was recovered by members of the State Game and Fish Commission and the Warren County Sheriff's Office about 2 p.m. Sunday. Street apparently lost control of the high speed craft near some barges in the Yazoo Canal near the Harbor Project about 10 a.m. The boat crashed into the barges, flinging him into the water. A number of boat operators saw the accident and notified the sheriff's office which began the search. Street was a native of Vicksburg and was a purchasing agent for Magnolia Mobile Homes. He is survived by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Gus Street of Vicksburg. on July 8, 1968.3

     Phillip Edward Forbes Phillip Edward Forbes, 82 years old, died in Martinsburg, West Virginia, Sunday, October 22, 2017. While recovering from a leg injury at Cleary Grove Nursing Home and Rehabilitation, he suffered a seizure and passed away suddenly. Phil was born in Lisbon Falls, Maine, December 20, 1934, to George and Rowena Verge Forbes. He was predeceased by his wife, Rose Marie Reid, whom he married in Clifton Forge, Virginia, April 4, 1959. He is survived by his brother, Verge Forbes; his son, Mark Edward Forbes, and his two daughters, Diane Marie Ulman and Pamela Reid Piatt; his seven grandchildren: Anna Maria Marciano, Chadwick Mitchell Forbes, Angela Marie Autin, Zachary Edward Ulman, Trinity Rose Strauss, Jacqueline Morgan Strauss, and Sydney Grace Strauss; and his five great-grandchildren: Alice Marie Autin, Jacob Edward Forbes, Oliver Phillip Autin, McKenzie Elizabeth Forbes, and Derek Ryan Autin. He graduated in 1957 from University of Maine, with a Bachelor of Science in Pulp and Paper Technology, and moved to the Clifton Forge and Covington area to work at Westvaco. He retired from Westvaco after 44 years of work with the company, primarily in data processing and database management. He was a positive and steady influence on all those who knew him. He was wise, strong, caring, and dedicated; he used to say, "The best thing you can give your kids is a good example." His grandchildren and great grandchildren brought much joy and happiness to his life. He enjoyed woodworking, reading, travel, puzzles, and spending time with family. A graveside service will be held in Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor.2 He was buried at Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor, Alleghany Co., Virginia.2,3 He was born on December 20, 1934 at Lisbon Falls, Androscoggin Co., Maine.2 He married Rose Marie Reid, daughter of Reginald Wine Reid and Pearl Helen Williams, on April 4, 1959 at Clifton Forge, Alleghany Co., Virginia.1,2 Phillip Edward Forbes died on October 22, 2017 at Martinsburg, Berkeley Co., West Virginia, at age 82.2
