     Dorothy Ann Sisk married Dempsey Monroe Pendleton, son of Valentine "Volie" Pendleton and Attrice Odell "Atts" Conner.³ Dorothy Ann Sisk Dorothy Ann (Sisk) Cockrell, formally of Oakton, Virginia passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019 in Millsboro, DE with her family of natural causes. Graveside service to be held at Vale United Methodist Church in Oakton. Pallbearers: Brian Pendleton, Phillip Pendleton, Lindsay Pendleton, Tony Cockrell, Joseff Cockrill and George Wright with honorary pallbearers Rayden Holsinger and Connor Pendleton. Dorothy A. Cockrell was proud of being a Fairfax County School Bus Driver for 25 years as well as a Loudoun County School Bus driver for 15 years. Dorothy A. (Sisk) Cockrell was born in Luray Virginia on March 20, 1927 to the late Hiram R. Sisk and Adeline (Hurt) Sisk along with her twin brother James Sisk. The twins come at a hard time for the Sisk as they already had Robert Sisk, Lealer Hitt (Turner), Lula Toot Roles (Stacey). Then along comes Desi Roles (Hilton), Mary Robey (Thomas), Odel Sisk (Mary) and Harry Sisk (Shirley). Family played a large roll for Dorothy. She married the first time and welcomed her first baby boy, Michael Pendleton (Sandy). Then she met Arthur Monkey Cockrell and along comes Gerald Pendleton (Toby), Bryan Cockrell and then her only girl, Rhonda Holsinger (Lewis). Dorothy A. Cockrell then becomes, Grandma to Brian (Ashley), Phillip (Andrea), Mickey, Bobby, Michael and Trevor. Then she becomes Momma Dot to Lindsay and Saraya (partner in crime..LOL). Then GG to Connor, Rayden, Adeline, Alden, Oliver and Elizabeth.¹ She was buried at Vale United Methodist Church, 11528 Vale Road, Oakton, Fairfax Co., Virginia.^4,1 Her married name was Pendleton.³ She was born on March 20, 1927 at Luray, Page Co., Virginia.^1,2 She died on April 14, 2019 at Millsboro, Sussex Co., Delaware, at age 92.¹

     Charles Edward Wellborn was buried at Flint Hill Cemetery, Oakton, Fairfax Co., Virginia.¹ He was born on August 11, 1964 at Arlington, Virginia.^1,2 He died on August 13, 1964 at Arlington, Virginia.¹

     His Social Security Number was 230-54-2963.³ Willard Wray Proffitt was buried at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, 831 Dranesville Road, Herndon, Fairfax Co., Virginia.^2,5 He was born on September 24, 1943 at Herndon, Fairfax Co., Virginia.^2,1,3,5,4,6 He married Rebecca Louise "Becky" Wellborn, daughter of Goodwin Gheesling Wellborn and Ruth Mariner/Marina Pendleton, on November 28, 1963 at Fairfax Co., Virginia.¹ Willard Wray Proffitt died on January 22, 1985 at Woodbridge, Prince William Co., Virginia, at age 41.^2,5

     Clyde Brummett Clyde Brummett, 72, of Spotsylvania County, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 at his home. Mr. Brummett was a retired welder. He was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed metal detecting. Survivors include his wife, Hazel Oakes Brummett; his three daughters, Patricia Jones, Laura Menzie (Larry), and Angie Tomblin; his ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; his siblings, Claude Brummett (Eva), Agnes Collins, Ralph Brummett, Mike Brummett (Debbie), Sue Pauley (Mike), and Nancy DeLavello (Tom); and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Brummett was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Opal Brummett and a brother, Dewey Brummett. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.³ He was buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Four Mile Fork, Spotsylvania Co., Virginia.⁴ He was born on April 24, 1943 at Washington, D.C..² He married Alice Faye Wellborn, daughter of Goodwin Gheesling Wellborn and Ruth Mariner/Marina Pendleton, on September 12, 1963 at Prince William Co., Virginia.¹ Clyde Brummett and Alice Faye Wellborn were divorced on May 2, 1985 at Prince William Co., Virginia.² Clyde Brummett died on February 3, 2017 at Spotsylvania Co., Virginia, at age 73.³
