Bell Sr., 40, died Sunday morning in a local hospital of injuries received when hit by a car Saturday night. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Marie Hale Bell, three daughters, Mrs. Joe Zimmerman, Mrs. James Abbott, Miss Sandra K. Bell, all of Roanoke; two sons, Warner M. Bell Jr., Allen C. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Anna Cole; his brothers, Albert E. Cole, Jr. and Carl Eugene Cole; and his son, David Michael Cole. Surviving is his wife, Rebecca Sue Cole; his sons, Richard Lee Cole, Jr. of Missouri, Daniel Keith Cole of Hardy, William Daniel Cole of Chamblissburg; 12 grandchildren; his sisters, Lorene Farley of Odd, W.Va., Martha Qualls of Pipestem, W.Va; his brothers, Arlie M. Cole of Tampa, Fla., Joel K. Cole, Carlos C. Cole, Willie Dale Cole, all of Odd, W.Va., John A. Cole, of Beckley, W.Va., A. Thomas Cole of Fairland, Ind; his special friend, Tommy Kelley. She has four grandchildren who loved her dearly, Danielle and Tiffany McPherson and Nicholas and Dakoda Lucas, ten brothers and sisters, Marybelle and Willie Hale, James and Marie Yopp, Ralph and Joyce Yopp, Jr., Charlotte Yopp, Alice and Shirley Ferris, Wayne and Karen Yopp, David and Donna Yopp, Danny and Diane Yopp, Louise and Darrell Guilliams, Gene and Brenda Yopp. There are 66 nieces and 58 nephews. A graveside service at Yopp Cemetery, in Callaway. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the SICU and PCU nurses and staff with all the help received for Mrs. Hale and her large family. She is survived by her husband, Jeff Barnett, of Blacksburg; mother, Lucy Turner, of Copper Hill, Va; daughter, Janice Blackwell and husband Charles, of Check, Va; two grandsons, Dusten and C.J. Flinchum, of Check, Va; brothers, David Clemons and wife Debbie, of Check, Va., Kenneth Turner and Rhonda, of Check, Va; sister, Phyllis Clemons, of Christiansburg; sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Jewell Barnett, of Blacksburg, Ruth Barnett and David Crieghton, of Thaxton, Va., Ernie and Marla Barnett, of Christiansburg, Sharon and Gratton Loar, of Tampa, Fla., Sue and Buster Altizer, of Riner; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
