He was also a member of the Churchland Masonic Lodge and a member of the Portsmouth Scottish Rite. Raymond was predeceased by his first wife, Dixie Marie Neal; six sisters, Nora, Erma, Beatrice, Irene, May and Lula and a brother, I. G. Neal Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Lois D. Neal; his son, Raymond E. Neal and wife June of Chesapeake; three daughters, Cheryl Whitmore and husband William of Virginia Beach, Terri Sanderlin and husband Ben of Windsor, and Peggy Santa and husband Jack of Chesapeake; seven grandchildren, Raymond J.
