Patricia was born on August 8, 1940, to the late Carson Worth Lewis and Faye (Buckner) Lewis in Weaverville, North Carolina. Patricia was born into a loving home and tight-knit family circle where music was always a part. During her childhood, her parents and extended family members, especially her grandfather, instilled values such as hard work, love, and faith, which was the foundation of her life. As a young adult, she moved to Virginia, to be with her sister, and met Dallen Keith Delk, whom she married on October 21, 1960. After a productive career, she retired as a Deputy Clerk from the Newport News Juvenile Domestic Relations Court. Patricia's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was a longtime member of Providence Free Will Baptist Church in Hampton, Virginia. She and Dallen served faithfully in many capacities.
