     Ernest Boyd "Butch" Jobe Jr. Mr. Ernest "Butch" Jobe, Jr., 74 of Adel passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Jobe was born May 17, 1947 to the late Ernest & Calista Chafin Jobe, Sr. He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Jobe worked 30 years at Dell Cook and worked at Guthrie Lumber in Cecil and Borders Melons. Mr. Jobe enjoyed fishing and mowing grass. He loved his family and all his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Donna Jobe of Adel; children, Jason Allen (Marie) Jobe of Sparks, Kevin (Amy) Jobe of Nashville, and Charles Roy Jobe of Adel and his special friend Kimberly Bowling of Five Point, Al and Jessica Sexton (Justin Godwin) of Nashville; grandchildren, Tabitha Carson, J J Jobe, Jacob Jobe, Buck Jobe, Tyler Jobe, Gavin Jobe, Brady Jobe, Hunter Carson, Andrew Carson, Colt Archer, and Ethan Jobe; 8 great grandchildren; and sister, Linda (Robert) Wallace of Atlanta.1 He married Donna Marie Meeler.5 Ernest Boyd "Butch" Jobe Jr. was born on May 17, 1947 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,2 He married Rose Marie Pittman in 1971 at Pasquotank Co., North Carolina.3 Ernest Boyd "Butch" Jobe Jr. died on June 14, 2020 at Cook Co., Georgia, at age 73.1

Donna was born September 4, 1965 in Adel to the late Charles & Katy Meeler. She loved to collect anything with "coke" on it and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Jessica (Justin) Godwin of Nashville; son, Roy Jobe (fiance, Heather) of Sparks; grandchildren, Hunter Carson of Nashville, Andrew Carson of Sparks, Colt Archer of Panama City, FL, and Ethan Jobe of Sparks; brothers, Jody Meeler of Adel, Ed Meeler of Sparks, and Andy Meeler of Sparks; sister, Brenda Meeler of Adel; and several nieces & nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest "Butch" Jobe; and sister-in-law, Donna "Kay" Meeler.1 Her married name was Jobe.1 She married Ernest Boyd "Butch" Jobe Jr., son of Ernest Boyd Jobe and Doris Calista Chafin.1 Donna Marie Meeler was born on September 4, 1965 at Adel, Cook Co., Georgia.1 She died on September 1, 2024 at Georgia at age 58.1

     Charles Lamon "Buddy" Warren Sr. Mr. Charles L. "Buddy" Warren, 93, of Adel, Georgia passed on August 21, 2024 at his residence. Mr. Warren was born on October 15, 1930 in Elberton, Georgia to the late Thomas Eugene Warren and Willie Mae Brown Warren. He lived most of his life in Cook County and was a member of the Adel United Methodist Church. Mr. Warren was a retired farmer and produce broker. He also served formerly in United States Army National Guard. Mr. Warren is survived by his son, Charles L. "Bud" Warren, Jr. of Bradenton, Florida; his daughter and son-in-law, Dena and Ricky Smith of Moultrie, Georgia; seven grandchildren: Chris Ragland of Moultrie, Calem Daughtrey of Lakeland, Georgia, Chuck and Kayla Warren of Adel, Wes and Ashlyn Warren of Hahira, Georgia, Jena Walker of Baxley, Georgia, Ashley and Brian Fuks of Valdosta, Georgia, Amber Brady of Nashville, Georgia; and thirteen great grandchildren. Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jean Walters Warren; his son, Brett "Booger" Warren; three brothers and one sister. Interment followed at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Elizabeth Warren. Mr. Warren is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law: Ashley Warren Fuks and Bryan Fuks of Valdosta, Georgia and Amber Warren Brady of Nashville, Georgia; his father, Charles "Buddy" Warren of Adel; four grandchildren: Kylen Warren of Valdosta, Bryleigh Brady, Jayleigh Brady and Carriebeth Brady, all of Nashville, Georgia; one brother, "Bud" Warren of Bradenton, Florida; one sister and brother-in-law, Dena and Ricky Smith of Moultrie, Georgia; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
