Kim Louise Hunt Kim L. Haughee, 61, of Granger, IN passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the Center for Hospice Care in Mishawaka. She was born November 12, 1959 in Lafayette, LA. On August 7, 1976 Kim married Paul Haughee, who survives. Also surviving are her three children, Nichole (Adrian) Phillips, Paul (Rachel) Haughee, Jr., and Michelle Haughee; mother, Maryann Hunt; five grandchildren, Paul III, Breauna, Daniel, Meadow, Elijah; and siblings, Tracy (Donnie), Charles (Julie), and Danyell. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Hunt; and sister, Jamie. Kim worked at the University of Notre Dame for over 30 years. She enjoyed attending car shows, but most dear to her heart was spending time with her family and grandchildren.2 She was born on November 12, 1959 at Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.2 As of August 7, 1976,her married name was Haughee.1 She married Paul Joseph Haughee Sr., son of Donald Max "Don" Haughee and Ida Belle Kollar, on August 7, 1976 at Granger, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.1,2 Kim Louise Hunt died on August 14, 2021 at Mishawaka, St. Joseph Co., Indiana, at age 61.2

He survives with a son, Collin of Elkhart; her mother and step-father, JoAnne and Bill Duncan of Elkhart; her father and stepmother, Joseph and Linda Carrico of Castle Rock, CO; and a brother, Mark (Julie) Carrico of Ft. Wayne. Angie retired after 15 years, due to her health, as a postal carrier for the Granger Post Office. She previously was a receptionist for Animal Care Clinic North and was a hair stylist for the Mane Event in Elkhart. She graduated from John Adams High School in South Bend and Vogue Beauty College. She was a member of Granger Community Church and was the first recipient of the Hello Gorgeous Award at Fix Salon in Elkhart. She furthered the cause by becoming an ambassador for all future recipients. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister, and a devoted friend to many. on September 12, 2012.2
