     Steven Allen Kocsis Steve Allen Kocsis, a beloved husband, father, brother, and cherished member of the South Bend community, passed away on February 8, 2024, in South Bend, Indiana, just miles from where his story began in Mishawaka, Indiana, on December 19, 1972. Steve's warmth and compassion knew no bounds. He made an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. His wife, Shelly R. Kocsis, remained his steadfast companion and source of love throughout his life's journey. He was predeceased by his devoted father John Steven Kocsis, his loving mother Bonnie Lou Woolverton, and his cherished daughter Zoe Anastasia Grace Kocsis, whose memory continued to light his way. Steve's legacy is carried forward by his proud children, Marissah Leitz (Julian Rodgers) of Mishawaka, Brandon Leitz of South Bend, Thomas Leitz of South Bend, Jacob Leitz of Lakeville, Gabriel Leitz of South Bend, Noah Leitz of South Bend, Garrick Leitz of South Bend and his adopted son, Thomas Rankin. They, along with his doting sisters, Mary (John) Thomas of Florida, Victoria Wise of South Bend, Betty (Yvon) Evanovich of South Bend, Tina Nowak of Florida, and Barbara Eddy of South Bend, will forever cherish the memories he imparted. His brother John Joseph Nowak preceded him in death. Steve took on the invaluable role of a homemaker with admirable dedication and care. He nurtured a home filled with laughter, love and a sense of unity that drew admiration from many.2 He married Shelly Unknown.2 Steven Allen Kocsis was born on December 19, 1972 at Mishawaka, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.2 He died on February 8, 2024 at South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana, at age 51.2

Mrs. Rose was born in Charleston West Virginia the daughter of the late Arthur and Rhoda Winfree McCartney. She was a homemaker, member of the Eastern Star and Loudsville United Methodist Church. Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by a daughter, Jo Ann Ward. Survivors include her husband, John A.
