She is preceded in death by her husband Frankie Hoffman, her parents William D. Harkins and Madeline Neary Harkins. Linda was a retired English educator with the Putnam County School System, spending her entire career at Buffalo High School. She is survived by her son Eric Hoffman; daughter Caroline (Douglas) Bartholomew; brother Larry (Barbara) Harkins; grandchildren Lida, Ian and Chloe. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.2 She was buried at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.3,2 Her married name was Hoffman.1 She married Frankie Lee Hoffman, son of Guy Raymond Hoffman and Opal V. Miller.1 Penny Sue Jones was buried at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.2 She Penny Sue Curry, Feb 7, 1948 - Aug 6, 2018. Penny Sue Curry, 70, of Elkview passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 at CAMC Memorial Hospital after a long illness, surrounded by her family. Penny was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all that knew her. She enjoyed fishing and camping and spending time with her grandchildren. She never knew a stranger, and was a beautiful person that showed unconditional love for her family. She is preceded in death by her father, Opie Jones. Penny is survived by her caring husband of 27 years, Bob Curry; mother, Freda Jones; son, Neil (Melissa) Huffman; daughter, Jill (Stuart) Kidd; brother, Mark Jones; grandchildren, Shane Taylor, Brittany Huffman, Jacob (Beth) Kidd, Dylan (Cassie) Huffman, Holli Huffman, Ava Sekercak, and Alexa Sekercak; great grandchildren, Rayvenn Pettry, Autumn Taylor, Alex Aliff, and Colton Huffman; and many nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.
