She was a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene, South Charleston. A graveside memorial service will be held in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. on January 14, 2009.²

Bill was a retired electrician with 56 years as a member of IBEW Local 466 and a longtime member of Gilmer County Masonic Lodge No. 118 AF&AM, Glenville. He was an avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast and founding president and lifetime member of Alliance M.C. in Nitro. Bill also worked at Harley-Davidson of West Virginia for many years as a fulltime and part-time employee. He loved motorcycles his whole life. Bill loved camping and going to the Amish country with his wife, Linda, and also many beach trips with kids and grandkids. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son-in-law to Linda's mother, Ruth Flint. Bill loved his kids and grandkids so much, and all of his many, many friends and club brothers. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry of Olympia, Wash., and Frank of St. Albans, and also a daughter, Tracy Hoffman of Nashville, Tenn.
