"Sam" Simpkins, Sr., age 56, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, the same place that he worked for over 20 years. He was born April 3, 1962, in Point Pleasant, a son to the late Ronald F. Simpkins and Glenda (Plants) Simpkins. In addition to his mother, Sam is survived by his wife, Connie (Sayre) Simpkins; son and daughter-in-law, William F. "Will", Jr. and Michelle Simpkins; grandchildren, Gage and Gaven Simpkins and Alexis Brewer; great-grandson, Lincoln Brewer; brother, Rick Simpkins; sisters, Vicky Biland and Rhonda Kleynen and many nieces, nephews and extended family. There will be a graveside service at Morgan Cemetery, in Leon.¹ He was buried at Morgan Cemetery, Leon, Mason Co., West Virginia.¹ He married Connie Sayre.¹ William F.
