Mr. Wray was born in Surry County on December 6, 1942 to Edith Poff Wray and the late Robert Graham Wray, Sr. He was retired from Insteel Corporation and was a member of Westside Baptist Church. Surviving is his devoted mother, Edith Poff Wray; daughters, Robin Smith and Melissa Lawson a son, Bobby Wray; grandchildren, six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Rosalie McMillian, Rhonda Humphries and Reva Arnder and a very special cousin, May Vipperman. In addition to his father, Mr. Wray was preceded in death by sister Renee Combs and an infant sister.      Marylee Margaret Kincaid Mrs. Marylee Margaret Kincaid Schmidt, age 77, of Mt. Airy, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at Northern Hospital. Mrs. Schmidt was born in Oak Hill, WV on October 20, 1941, to Jack and Esther Farley Kincaid. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed. Surviving are daughters and a son-in-law, Esther Nichols and Dreama and Chad Gwyn; sons and a daughter-in-law, Jacky and Emily Poff and Marty Nichols; grandchildren Esther Horton, Jimmie Anderson, Michael Luallen, Joylee Luallen, Jonathan Luallen, and Stephanie Poff; eight great grandchildren; a brother and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Gracie Kincaid, Louise Kincaid; several nieces & nephews; and her beloved dog Cindy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Schmidt was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse “JB” Schmidt, sons, Robby Nichols and Douglas Lee Poff; and brothers, Jimmy Kincaid and Jack Kincaid.
